The minutes seemed to drag on as I waited for six o'clock. Professor Hiddleston and I had agreed it would be best to meet at a local coffee shop, just a few blocks from campus. As much as I wanted to, I ended up not telling Hope about the little meet-up. It was a really odd situation to be in, having to be tutored, and I didn't want Hope to tease me about it or get the wrong idea.

Nevertheless, she watched me closely as I shoved my term papers into my bag. "Where are you going again?" She asked curiously, and I tried to be as nonchalant as possible with my answer. Lying was definitely not something I enjoyed, so I told her the basic truth. "Just to a little coffee shop down the road. I'll probably take a walk after so don't wait up on me."

I watched Hope narrow her eyes at me for a split second, followed by an approving nod, and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding in. I stepped out the door and tried to remember everything I'd learned from in the past few days. I hoped I didn't miss anything too important. Any anxiety I had was being pushed away by the thought of meeting up with the Professor. It was prettier than normal outside. The sidewalks were swept, and a slightly dim glow covered the city as the sun prepared to set. I walked swiftly down the pavement, hoping I wouldn't be late for the second time today.

Opening the door to the coffee shop, I glanced around until my eyes met a handsome man sitting in the corner booth. Professor Hiddleston looked up from his book, giving me a warm smile, and motioned for me to join him. I obliged, taking the seat across from him. He was dressed in a more casual outfit than he usually wore in class; a blue, long sleeve shirt hugged his arms and chest, and he wore a pair of slim fit jeans.

I decided to speak first since I was last to arrive. "Sorry I'm late, again. Maybe I should start setting alarms on my phone." I chuckled and suddenly hoped he couldn't see how nervous I was.

Professor Hiddleston raised his brows at me. "Yeah? You're actually right on time."

His voice sent butterflies through my stomach, and I mentally kicked myself, pushing aside whatever feelings he gave me so I could focus on my work...or at least try to. If all I could do was choke out a few words then this would be a very short lesson. "Um, I did some studying before I came, so don't worry, I won't be keeping you long." I told him while opening my textbook. He seemed like a busy man, and I didn't want to interfere with any plans he may have made.

"Don't worry about me, I haven't made any plans so we can stay as late as you want." He gave me the warmest smile I think I'd ever seen. I was clearly surprised, but I kept my thoughts to myself as we started going over today's topic.

                                     . . .

"Wait hold on, so you're telling me you've never seen any of the Harry Potter movies?" I asked my professor in disbelief. A few hours had gone by, and the two of us had slowly found ourselves talking about all sorts of different things.

Professor Hiddleston shook his head. "I never got around to it after I was hired for NYU. Though, I might now that you seem so passionate about it. I feel like I've committed a crime." He laughed as he sipped on his second coffee of the night.

I laughed along with him. Talking came so easily, and honestly all of my nerves from before had subsided. "You should. It draws you into a world completely different from ours. The books were pretty great, but I have the movie boxset so I mostly just watch those."

"Well, maybe you could show it to me sometime." He said almost too quickly, and I paused for a second to make sure I didn't mishear him.

"I would be glad to, sir." I replied, feeling my heart speed up at the thought of watching some of my favorite movies with him. I wasn't sure if Professor Hiddleston meant anything by what he'd said, maybe I was looking into it too much and just needed to back away from the thought.
