"Stop staring." He mouthed to me before putting his phone down. "They arent answering, I will pick you up and then we will swing by there
tomorrow afternoon.""It's yours. There's a whole fetus in my stomach that was made by you and I. If you still refuse to accept that its your after the DNA tests, then its okay. We don't need you." I said, standing up. It was true. We didn't need him. I had enough money to care for the both of us, plus my parents who would gladly help out. Or maybe not. Either way, I was fine. We were fine.
I slipped back into my slides and grabbed my backpack before walking towards the door. I had left him in astonishment. I knew he was
scared. I knew he didn't know what to do."If it's mine, you're moving in with me." He said, immediately stopping me in my tracks. I turned around so quick, i knew i would regret it
later. I blinked profusingly before shaking m head. "Like hell I am not.""Yes, you are. You are holding one of my children, you are moving in with me. I need to keep you supervized and make sure you and the baby are healthy."
"Or, you can just accompany me to the freaking appointments and check with me. I don't need to move in." I argued.
"You're moving in AND I am accompanying you to every appointment. Do not push me with this Sophia. I am serious."
"I am serious too. I have a house and boyfriend waiting for me. I can't move in with another man."
"You slept with me! What's worse? Explaining to your boyfriend that you slept with another guy or that you're moving in with him?"
"Both!"
"Daddy, is my food here?" A little voice said, my head snapped to the direction the last statement came from. I saw a beautiful young girl, she couldnt be more than two or three, with
unruly curly hair and bright green eyes a trait she definitely got from her father. And that was definitely Alex.
"Why are you upset? Did you do the thing again?" She asked, rubbing her head. My head turned towards Alexander who was staring at the child with affection. The harsh green eyes that just were just glaring at me turned into nice, gentle soft eyes while he stared at the child.
"No Maya. It's okay. We are just having a conversation and Daddy got
upset." He said, carrying hisself to the little girl. He dropped to his knees, watching as the little girl rubbed her red eyes. So that's who Maya is. Not some wife, a daughter. But.. if he HAS a daughter there must be another women in his life.
"Daddy, who is THAT?" SHe whipered loudly, peering over his broad shoulder."Her name is Sophia."
"She's gonna be the one who watches me?"
"No, she's my friend."
"So, shes gonna be my mommy?" She said excitedly before rocking on her feet. She had a large smile spread over her face as she put her hand up to wave at me.
"Baby, no." Alexander said, standing. Maya looked up at him with a frown.
"Why not?" She said, stealing a glance at me. She furrowed her eyebrows and crossed her arms.
"Because we are friends."
"She's pregnant." She noted, now staring at me. I held back a chuckle as Alexander looked back at me with a horrified expression.
"What?" He asked. Yeah, I'm curious as to how she knew that as well. My stomach is barely round and she just met me so she has nothing to compare it to.
"Nevermind, go do your morning cycle before your food comes. We got stuff to do today." Alexander changed the subject and Maya rolled her eyes before walking up to me.
