Chapter 9- Don't Lie To Me

''Babe you're hungry have some of mine.'' He broke his cookie in half holding out to me. I gulped.

''U-Um no thanks Levi. I-I'm really not hungry.'' He gave me a look that just screamed 'I'm not buying that'.

''Eren... Don't make me force you to eat it.''

''Levi it's yours you eat it.''

''No, Eren please.'' He gave me a worried look and I just couldn't say no.

''Fine...'' Oh god I hope this doesn't make me sick. He smiled at me and I took the cookie and began to eat it. It went down alright then I downed my water. Levi and some of my friends looked at me strangely. I felt a burning in my throat. Shit! I was gonna be sick. I jumped off of Levi and ran to the bathroom throwing up violently. I heard the door to the bathroom open.

Levi's POV

I watched as Eren ate the cookie. He looked like he was struggling and when he finished he started downing his water. Okay this is concerning I'm gonna have to talk to him when we get home. Eren's actions sparked some of his friend's attention, specifically Jean's and Mikasa's. His face went pale and he bolted off my lap and towards the bathroom. My eyes went wide and all his friends looked over to where he went shocked.

I wasted no time running after him. I opened the door and saw the stall at the end was locked. I could hear someone throwing up. Oh god please don't be Eren. I knocked on the door.

''Eren you in there?'' I heard a gasp.

''...Yeah...''

''Honey are you okay?''

''...Yeah...''

''Please come out.''

''No.''

''Eren... Please.'' The door unlocked and Eren emerged. His face was pale and he looked tired. I embraced him and he started crying into my shoulder.

''Baby what's going on? I noticed it at the restaurant yesterday. Please tell me.'' He gave me a sad look.

''Don't worry about me. I'm fine.''

''No you're not tell me.'' I let off a reassuring scent to calm him.

"I...I just have a bug or something like that its fine honestly." He smiles at me nervously.

"Baby please don't lie to me. If you had a bug you wouldn't just be sick after you eat."

"Food poisoning?"

"You'd still be sick at other times Eren." He sighed and looked down. I guided his face up to look at me.

"You can tell me I won't judge."

"I-I have an... eating disorder." He looked down as if he was ashamed. I just hugged him, he was slightly shocked but eventually hugged back.

"What you mind telling me which one?" I gave him a sincere smile.

"...Bulimia."

"That explains a lot." Eren looked worried, I realised he may have taken that negatively but I waved my hands in dismissal.

"I didn't mean for it to sound bad! I just mean that... ahhh you know what actions speak louder than words." I grabbed his face and kissed him he jumped at the sudden action but gently leaned into the kiss.

I pulled back and smiled, resting my forehead on his.

"Eren I don't care what mental or physical illness you have I will always love you. No matter what I will always be here for you and I will always support and help you. I'm so sorry I made you eat that I should have realised sooner..." He shook his head at me.

"Thank you so much Levi but you don't need to be sorry I had no idea that I have bulimia... I ate it so it's my fault."

"No it's not your fault." I realised we were still in the bathroom.

"Um maybe we should go back to the others." Eren's heartbeat increased.

"B-But they are all gonna ask me questions..."

"Don't worry Baby. Do you want me to tell them if they ask?" He thought for a second then nodded. I took his hand and we walked back to the others.

They saw Eren's paleness and gave him worried looks. I sat him on my lap and he curled into me. Mikasa was the first one to speak.

"What happened Eren?" He flinched and I stroked his hair. He placed his face in the crook of my neck smelling my scent.

"You want me to say Honey?" He nodded. I sighed and turned Eren's friends, they were all staring at us with worried looks.

"Eren was just sick." Everyone gasped.

"Why?!" Mikasa shouted making Eren flinch again.

"Mikasa please refrain from shouting you should know Eren doesn't like it." She looked down.

"Sorry Eren."

"Anyway Eren was sick because he has an eating disorder, bulimia. He only just told me and I'm going to everything in my power to help him." Everyone gave us sad and sincere looks.

"Oh my god... Eren why didn't you tell us?"

"I was afraid you guys wouldn't like me or think I was just looking for attention." Jean looked at Eren and looked angry.

"You're such an idiot Eren we're your friends we would never think that."

"Wow thanks Jean you actually have a nice bone somewhere in your body."

"Don't push it Jaeger." The whole group laughed and so did Eren.

Time Skip

We all said goodbye to each other then I dropped Eren back at his house. He begged me to stay and so did his Mum but I couldn't.

"I'm sorry Baby I need to plan lessons but I will text when I get back home and call you later okay?"

"Okay..." I gave him a kiss than drove back to mine.

Jean's POV

I actually had a lot of fun today. Meeting up with all the gang and meeting Eren's mate. Levi isn't that bad to be honest. He makes Eren happy, it might shock people to hear this but I'm consider Eren a good friend and I'm glad he's finally found someone. I think Marco is too.

"Hey Babe?"

"Yeah?"

"That was really nice of you to say that to Eren today. I never knew what he was going through. I wish he'd talk to us, but he has Levi now so he must be a lot happier."

"Yeah, he's been looking for his mate for longer than any of our friends."

"I have a weird feeling Eren is still hiding stuff from everyone. We can't do much but hope he's okay or Levi will help him."

"Yeah."

Marco snuggled up close to me.

"I'm gonna go start on some dinner. What do you fancy?"

"Ooo you're special, Marco's Bolognese." He chuckled.

"Of course Babe." I gave him a quick kiss then he got up to start making dinner.
