Chapter 21: New Beginnings

"Mhmm do what ever you want" He said while pulling into the doctors parking lot. He knew my pride was not gonna let me contact Chris

"Aaron honestly?? You too grown too be acting childish about a situation that ain't yours" I got out the car slamming the door

"Aye Chill all that extra shit the fuck out"

Signing my name on the clipboard and sitting down I called Jameer while I waited since I was 30 mins early

"Baby girllllll" he yelled with the brightest smile on his face "look who I'm with" he turned his camera the long way, I laughed seeing Melo bright smile appear then Jelly, Eli and King appeared.

"Awww look at all my friends" it cheered me up seeing all them together. After being away for a month I allowed Meer to tell Melo and Jelly I had left and kept the baby. Then I let him tell King and Eli that the rumors were true and I had left. Before king could know though he had to promise me not to tell Chris about me being pregnant or bringing up my whereabouts and so far he had kept his promise.
"I miss you guys"

"We miss you more how's our niece doing??"

"Nephew!!" I heard King Melo and Eli yelled

"Aye Aye shutup with all that negativity!!" Jameer snapped "y'all being disrespectful calling my lil chicken nugget a boy"

"You guys are annoying I don't even know the gender yet"

"But Aaron knows!! Tell him to tell me! I know he's at the appointment with you"

"I'm not telling you anything Jameer" Aaron said from next to me. Jameer phone suddenly started moving around a lot like he was walking somewhere. When it finally stopped I was looking at Melo

"Hi" he smiled

"Hi Melo" I laughed

"How you doing beautiful?? I miss you"

"I miss you too Handsome. I'm doing good. We both are" I lifted my baggy hoodie and showed him my stomach

"Damn he getting big. You know my offer still stands right? No matter what, no matter where"

"I know Melo and I love you for that but I want you to live your life"

He frowned "I love you too baby girl. Really miss having you around."

"Are you coming to Florida for my reveal "

"Why aren't you having a baby shower again??" He frowned

"Because it'll be too much to ask you guys to come down here twice in the middle of the school year. Plus I don't need anything. Aaron is making sure I have everything"

"Okay but you know I'll be there"

"Zendaya Coleman-Gordon, we're ready for you"

"Okay be right there" I looked back at my phone "Tell Meer I'll call him later"

"I love you too Melo, talk to you later" I ended the FaceTime

"Are you and him..." Aaron asked as we walked to the back

"No me and him aren't together but I'll always love him. He was my first love"

"I understand.."

"Bitch don't be snatching my shit up like you bought it" I grabbed my phone back from Melo

"Shutup nigga. She said she'll call you later" He said opening his Gatorade and eating a fry

"You miss her don't you" I asked which caused everyone to stop eating and look at Melo waiting for an answer
