Chapter 13: The First Battle (Part 1)

He nodded,"I wouldn't doubt it. In fact I could get you there, and help you fight!"

He seemed serious, a switch from his earlier nature. I smiled, nodding, he would be extremely helpful, turning down his help would be a mistake. Leading to now, as I explained this to the others, Ace seemed to soak up the information. Even with explaining the information on Jeff and Slits. She seemed genuinely curious and patient. "So then," Ace said,"despite not knowing about Slits, and the embarrassment of that...where do you want us to go?"

Ace's P.O.V.

As soon as I asked where we were going to be placed in the battle, Progenitors expression changed. She became the woman I knew, when I first met her. Her eyes looked at each of us in a calculating manor, while her right hand delicately touched her chin, and her left hand and arm wrapped around her body. I could tell, that just like when she was assessing me, and just like when she had assessed Simon, that she was putting thought into her plan. Then a small smile danced on her lips, like she had an idea. "From what I can gather, from checking in with Emily," she said calmly, looking each of us over,"a few of Slender's major players are on the west side. Those include Eyeless Jack, as you can assume, Jeff the Killer, Clockwork, Ticci Toby, and Laughing Jack. This group is rather spread apart, so I would focus on the western side of the woods. As this is the case, I would take care in preparing Sally to fight them and, protecting her with the seal. I don't want to see her hurt, and I know you don't want that either."

I nodded, hearing Sally whimper. I walked over and patted her on the head to reassure her, to which she smiled weakly. "I will," I replied, causing Progenitor to hum in approval.

"Alright then child, I'll leave you to it. I have to get ready to head out there myself, and Necromancer is trying to get into contact with me. So please be careful," she said fading away, as we were left, back into reality.

"H-how are you going to help me fight those Dream stealers Acey?" Sally asked when we got back to the physical reality.

"There's a seal that works, it destroys them," I answered coolly.

Sally giggled in response, like she was ready to get back at her assailants. That was the type of girl I was happy to see. Ben laughed saying,"As you can see, Sally is the fighting type, and the revenge type."

"Yet she's so CUTE!!!!!!!" Lily squealed picking her up in a hug.

Sally started laughing, with a bright smile,"Ms. Lily! Let go!"

I snickered, as I looked at Ben,"Yep, I could tell. Though Lily seems to be able to defuse that tendency."

"So if I remember what you told me last time I visited, she's the Eternity killer," Ben clarified.

"Yep," I answered, with a smile.

Lily put Sally down, and nods,"Yep."

"WAIT! IF THAT'S TRUE! THAT'S SO COOL!" Sally squealed, bouncing up and down,"but, what are the 3 words?"

Lily laughed nervously,"N-nothing big...."

"Really?" asked Sally curiously.

Lily bowed her head in defeat,"I guess I guess I can trust you tough. The words are Fountain of youth."

"Why is that?" Sally asked,"You don't have to tell if you don't want too..."

Lily smiled, then replied,"No...I can tell you. I mean I told the others, so. Yeah!"
