◆16◆ Her warm smile, her cold heart

Todoroki looked at the picture and he could see the picture came out nicely. 

"You didn't smile." She pointed at his stoic face. 

"But you said usual face." 

"Eh? I assumed you would have smiled." 

They both stared at each other for a good while before she burst out laughing. 

"Todoroki, if you take my words literally, you'll end up being tricked by me." She returned his phone knowing he will not know there's now a tracker on it. 'Dabi said the moment it's in, the other person will not notice a thing.' She stood up on her toes and she removed the Mickey Mouse ears from Todoroki's head, "Let's get going to another place~." 

"Let's go." 

Going to another level of the mall, they went up the escalators so they could go to the shop Todoroki wanted to go to. Going up, Michiyo could see Kirishima Eijirou from where she was. She quickly looked away from him and pretend not to notice him. 'How did he know I will be here?' She still couldn't find Dabi anywhere, will he ever make a move? She certainly couldn't get caught!

Kirishima Eijirou was pacing around the mall because he had to find Todoroki and tell him about the danger he will walk around unknowingly with. 'I have to change this world's fate! If it keeps going as it is, everything will...!' He searched and searched without a sense of direction, trying to find Todoroki in the crowd of people. 

He looked up at the escalator to see Todoroki's back. He could also see Michiyo looking over her shoulder with a smirk on her face; it was the 'come and get me' face! 

"Michiyo...!" He wanted to push past the people who were also going up, but he none of them were willing to let him be this rude. "Come on, come on!" 

His heart panicked when he saw Todoroki and Michiyo already arrived at the end of the escalator. When it was finally his turn, he ran after them as quick as he could. 'Todoroki...!' 

However, Kirishima Eijirou couldn't reach Todoroki or Michiyo because he was caught from the side. Even activating his Quirk was useless because it did not stop the hooded person from dipping their hand into his head and pulling something out of it. That something came in the form of a small glowing ball that glowed in three colors: white, light blue, and pink. The moment the mystery person removed that from Kirishima Eijirou, he was left disoriented for a good while. The people walking by assumed he was just resting against the wall so they thought nothing of it.

"H-huh....? Where am I? What am I doing here?" Kirishima couldn't remember a thing. Why was he here in Kamino Ward's Shopping Mall when he already did his shopping? "My head hurts..." 

When Dabi said to leave it to him, he meant it. And when Michiyo requested for him not to kill Kirishima Eijirou, he kept his promise to her. Well, he wanted to kill the boy but he thought he should stick to the promise because he didn't want Michiyo to be sad. 

"What is this?" Outside the mall and between a building's alley, Dabi was holding the glowing sphere in his hand that glowed in three different colors. 

"That boy's memory. You said you want memories about that blue haired girl." The person removed her hood. Her long black hair was tied back by a white ribbon in a high ponytail, though she left two long strands going down each side of her face. Her name was Hakanai Shiki, and she worked with the police. Hero name: Kioku. Her Quirk, Memory, allowed her to take a person's memory out of their heads and see what's inside in the form of a glowing colored sphere. Shiki's Quirk allowed her to erase memories if she doesn't give the sphere back to the owner and destroy the sphere as a whole. She's an important asset to the police department's interrogation unit.
