What Happens After The Phone Call (It Started With A Phone Call Sequel)

Chapter Three

           "Hello Sky. How is everything going?" The principal asked. I smiled at him. "Everything is great. I hope I'm not intruding my being here," I said as my eyes looked at the people sitting around. My eyes bulged out when I saw Brittany. The years did not do her well.

           "What's she doing here?" Brittany asked in her bitchy mood. She hasn't changed a bit I guess.

           "Sky came to pick me up and will be sitting in for the remainder of this meeting," Dan said protectively. "Why though? Are you guys together?" She asked. I guess she never ended up finding out.

           "We're married," I answered for Dan. Brittany's mouth dropped open. "I knew you were always a slut," she mumbled. Dan went to argue but I stopped him. "She's not worth it," I said, which made some of the teachers laugh to themselves. I swear the principal laughed too.

           "Alright, so basically Sophia will be suspended for the next three weeks and she'll be having detentions for the remainder of the school year," the vice principal said.

           "What?! That's not fair! Why aren't the boys getting punished?" Sophia screamed.

           "Relax Miss Justice. The boys are also getting punished. They will have detentions for the next two months," the vice explained.

           "That's not fair at all!" Brittany screamed. "They were caught doing the same thing," she complained.

           "Yes Brittany, but Sophia has been caught twice. She was given a strict warning about this. There are also students who have anonymously reported Sophia of doing these things other times, but they did not say the boys' names. Sophia seems to lie about them to get out of trouble so no other boys will be punished until there is some form of proof."

           I sat there and just looked at everything unfold. The two boys looked bored while their parents looked ashamed. Sophia and Brittany were yelling at each other as the Principal signed detention slips.

           "Alright, the meeting is now over. Just remember that if any of you skip a detention you will be punished even more. And Sophia, if you get caught even just once again you will risk more suspension time and even being expelled," the principal finished off before saying his goodbye's to the parents.

           Brittany grabbed Sophia and stormed out of the room. "Next time you have fun make sure it's not at school or at least be smart about it like I was. This was such a waste of time for me," she complained before the door shut.

           "Now that this is over can I feel the bump," Mr. Edwards said randomly, which made everyone else in the room laugh.

           "Why was Brittany there instead of their parents?" I asked Dan as we were driving home. "They're on vacation and threatened to cut off her credit card if she didn't go," Dan said while laughing.

           "Seriously? That's so typical of Brittany. Never doing anything to help others unless she's threatened or rewarded," I said before sighing and getting out of the car and into the elevator.

           "Since you already had dinner I'll just make myself a sandwich," Dan said. "I can make you something," I said as I went towards the kitchen. Dan stopped me and turned me around. "Until she's born I'll be the one doing the work," he said with a grin.

           "Yeah than until he's born you have to be nice to me and listen to me when I tell you to eat," I retorted with a smirk. Dan scowled jokingly at me before he decided to make two sandwiches instead of one.

           Being pregnant comes in handy I guess.

           As Dan made his food I opened up my laptop and started looking at the condo's available in the building. There were many available so it would be good for us to check them out on the weekend. Dan sat next to me as he ate so he could look along with me. I got tired quickly since it was a long day and decided to turn in earlier.

           It was a long, but extremely interesting day.

           I quickly fell asleep while thinking about how much the roles reversed between Brittany and myself.
