"No, I am not." You answered. Sebastian seemed pleased with my answer, so he moved on.
"Now tell me. How were you able to avoid me this long?" He asked. "I am impressed how you managed to escape two months ago, but I am also impressed that you were not caught by my search team. I clearly underestimated you." Sebastian told you as you listened to he's words.
"I had my ways." You simply answered. "After all, every living thing has an intendancy to live and survive, if their life is at risk. Am I wrong?" You added to your explanation.
"No, you are not wrong." He said and started to think for a while. The silence made you anxious, if Sebastian thought about something this long, it usually meant that something bad was going to happen to you. He looked at you again.
"Now that you are back, we can continue the experiments once again. But to be sure that you don't escape, we have to have always someone to watch you at all times. You managed to escape when my scientist wasn't paying enough attention to you." He explained. You weren't surprised by his words. After all, all the labs in this building had cameras, but the storage rooms.
"The experiments will start right away. I will have my scientists to move you to another laboratory in 10 minutes. I will join you later." He told you as he was about to turn off the mike.
"Wait." You said calmly. Sebastian stopped and took his hand away from the keyboard, then turned to you.
"What is it?" He asked a bit surprised by your actions, you didn't behave like this before. You took a deep breath and looked at him.
"If I may ask. How was Mr. Garrison able to find me or us?" You asked him. Sebastian stayed quiet for a moment, but not too long.
"He did not specifically tell me how." He answered honestly. "If you behave well he might be gracious enough to tell you." He told you and shut off the mic, then left the room but another scientist that you knew took his place. You were left in the almost quiet room. It was going to be the same like it used to be, and the thoughts of the same horrible tests ran in your mind like crazy, it made you want to cry. But you had to stay strong, for Donnie, for everyone. You just hoped that others were doing better than you.
After about 10 minutes, a group of scientists came in with a moving cart that had an canister that said oxygen. They worked quite quickly, they removed some tubes from your tank and connected them to the canister on the moving cart, then they pushed the moving cart under your tank and the tank shifted slightly. The next thing you know is that you're being pulled somewhere. You got some stares from the other scientists in the hallways, the look of excitement was written on their faces, they had to be excited about your return so they can finally continue their job. Soon you were inside a lab that you knew like the back of your hands, windows were at the back wall, the examination table and computers in your right, some workstations in your left and a station for your tank in the middle of the room. It was like a living room for you, a room where you spend time with your "Family". As the scientist were putting your tank to its station, another scientist walked in, Mr, Garrison.
"Mr, Garrison, what brings you here?" One of the scientists asked him. He stopped in tracks and looked at them.
"I came to assist Professor Harley to collect new data about Z-14. I have updated the computer program, so it's best that I handle it for now" He explained and they nodded. Mr, Garrison went over to the computer as the others went to work somewhere else. You took this as the only chance to ask how Mr. Garrison tracked you down, but you had to choose your words wisely. You knocked on the glass to get the scientists attention and it worked, you pointed at your mouth, to inform that you wanted to speak. He got the message but was a bit skeptical at first, but he activated the mike.
"Is something the matter?" He asked, you nodded in response. Even though he wanted to finish what he started, he was curious about what you had to say so he gave you the permission to speak.
"I know you're intelligent, but how did you track me down? There was little chance for you to find us by hacking anything, thanks to my friends technology, but somehow you did." You asked him, he gave you a grin.
"I'm offended by your assumption, that I wouldn't be able to find you. Sure it took some time, but all in all it was simple. I hacked one of your "friends" phone and found all of your location. So when you split up, I followed a group that I knew you were part of." He laughed a little and shut off the mike and returned to work. 'He hacked Casey's T-phone!, how didn't you think of that?', you mentally slapped yourself. After some time passed, and Sebastian walked in.
"Are we ready to begin?" Sebastian asked as he faced Mr, Garrison.
"Yes, professor." He answered and Sebastian started to walk towards you. You started to panic, 'What are they going to do to me this time?' you thought. Sebastian pressed some buttons on the monitor next to your tank, suddenly the liquid inside the tank was going down the train under your feet. You stood there while another button was being pushed and the tank opened.
"Come stand out here, and put this on." Sebastian ordered as he held one of those hospital gowns. You took it and put it on. Then you started to follow Sebastian to the examination table. As much as you wanted to disobey Sebastian and his scientists, you already knew that it was useless, you just would get punished for disobeying their orders. So you just did what you were told and hoped that it wouldn't be as bad as you thought.
"Sit in here." Sebastian said as he was setting up something. You sat on the chair that was similar to the one at a dentist and Mr. Garrison started connecting you to the machines. Once he was done, it took a moment for the computer to generate detailed information. You knew they were discussing something, as they were looking at the new information on the screen. But you didn't hear what they were talking about, because you were focused on something in the distance. Then they came back and Sebastian held two syringes, he injected them into you and walked back, after sometime he came back.
"Stand up." He ordered you and you did as you were told. He held out a water bottle for you to take.
"Now, drink this water as much as you can." He ordered and your heart stopped. You started shaking and Mr. Garrison looked irritated, you forgot that he was short tempered.
"But I- I can't-" You said but Mr. Garrison interrupted you.
"Do it!" He told you. Sebastian stayed quiet, of course he wanted get things done, but he was more patient than his worker. You took the bottle and opened it, you prepared yourself for the pain that was waiting for you. You started to drink the water, and you weren't even halfway done when pain shot through your body, you tried to bare the pain and drink more, but you couldn't. You dropped the bottle and your legs gave out, you started throwing up on the floor and pain shot through you as you did so. You were shaking and crying as little bit of blood was dripping from your mouth, forming a small puddle on the floor. The blood got the two scientists attention, it was unusual for you to throw up blood.
"Stop the experiment! Emergency now!" Sebastian shouted. You felt weak and collapsed on the floor but you didn't pass out, everything in your vision was just fuzzy. You were being lifted up an put on a table that can be moved. They took you over to your tank and hooked you into one of the machines, and then you were put to sleep.
Btw the art in this chapter belongs to me.
