Chapt. 24

"Who knows how he would react when he finds out you lost your virginity to me and cheated on him." He says with a smug look. "Not only that, but the biggest secret you're hiding from him."

"He would not believe you." I say trying to sound confident but clearly my voice shows anything but that.

"I doubt that."

I was about to say something but I got cut off by the teacher coming in.

After that he didn't bother me for the whole period.

"Ellie, you okay?" My though got cut off my Damien.

I look at him.

Will he still care about me?

Will he still look at me the same way?

Will he stop loving me...

That thought scares me the most.

"Ella?" He brings me out of my thoughts again.

"Oh, uh yeah. I'm just thinking." I mumble.

"About what?"

"You." I smile.

"Babe I know I'm irresistible but honestly that's creepy." He says playfully.

"I bet you think about me all the time." I say challenging.

"Of course. I have the best girlfriend in the whole wide world!" He shouts bringing attention to our table. We are in the cafeteria by the way. My heart breaks a little because I know I did something wrong.

I glance over at Ryan and he has a smirk on his face.

I gulp.

I look at Damien.

"I love you." I say while smiling sincerely at him.

"I love you too." He says and I kiss his cheek.

We just finished last period and I'm waiting for the girls.

There's a football game tonight and we're getting ready at my place.

"Where are they?" Breanne asks.

I shrug.

After a while we finally see them exit the school and Breanne does and exasperated sigh.

"Took you long enough suckers." She says and gets in the car.

We all laugh and head to my house. This is it.

I'm gonna have to tell them everything.

"You look hawt!" Tessa says and I laugh.

What if I don't make it?

Will we ever be able to do these things again?

"Guys, I have to tell you something. Something very important." I say seriously.

"I don't like where this is going." Jenna says.

If you're thinking that I'm gonna tell them about the Ryan thing, then no. I already told them.

"You might wanna sit down." I say and they do as instructed.

"I....I..." I pause.

"What is it?" Breanne asks.

"Get to it. I don't like this feeling I'm getting." Tessa says.

"I have...cancer." I say quietly looking at the ground.

Their eyes widen and mine starts to tear up.

They all run to where I'm standing and embrace me in a warm hug.

We all start crying until we run out of tears.

"I'm sorry, I should've told you guys." I say.

"No it's okay. We should've realised." Jenna says.

"Does...Ashton know?" Tessa asks quietly.

"Yes, I'm having surgery, after graduation." Which is next week.

"I don't know if I'll survive!" I say and they all hug me again.

"It's okay. You're a strong girl. I know you will make it." Jenna says.

I smile sadly at them. But then I remembered my plan about Damien.

"I need to make him hate me." I say looking at the ground.

"Who?" The three of them ask.

I look at them, "Damien." I say sadly.

"Why?!" Breanne shouts.

"Because I don't want him to mourn over me his whole life. I want him to find someone new. I might not make it but if I do, I already know what to do." I say.

"What will you do?" Tessa asks.

I bite my lip.

"If I don't make it, tell him I died in a car crash. Don't ever tell him I had cancer. I don't want him feel bad about it." I say sternly. "If I survive, with side effects, I will start a new life. Remember only you guys know about this and Ashton. Promise me to not tell anyone." I say.

"We promise." They all say.

"I really hope I survive." I say quietly.

A/n: sorry I took so long to update. I'm starting to get busy with school and I can rarely update.

Also, can't believe Ella has cancer. Btw in chapter I forgot Damien had a dream about Ella having cancer. It's like he could see clues of the future in that dream

Edited: OMG I JUST FUCKING SAW THAT MY STORY WAS NUMBER 1 ON INSECURITY AND I WAS LIKE WTF. Okay that's all bye.
