The main thought, that convinced you to investigate this hard case was, that the whole world including L is searching and investigating Kira's person. They are busy with finding Kira. But as it looks like, no one is thinking about investigating Kira's skills. They say, they will find out, when they have caught Kira. And as stupid as it sounds, you wanted to investigate how Kira kills all these criminals without being there in person, while the others are busy catching Kira...
And it wasn't impossible, you knew that...!
Later, when you will have found out how Kira is killing, you wanted L to know about these news.
Then it will be easier to find Kira...
As mentioned earlier, you have enough reasons to come to Japan and study here in the college.
But that's not everything...

Before you moved to Japan, you prepared yourself and everything you could need for your new life. You also have two forged identity cards. The first one was a normal one, but with your fake name (fake name), while the other one showed you as a private investigator also including your fake name.
But to be more careful and because you knew it was gonna be better and safer for you, you decide to tell Hideki only the first name of your Alias.
Your theory is only a theory, so there is a big chance, that it turns out wrong. And if it's so, you may reckon, that Kira is a human who lives in Kanto near you. That means, that there is a chance for Kira to find you and maybe tries to kill you... But that will not work because he only knows your first name.

And when he noticed that you are still alive, he immediately will think, that you are investigating against him and that will get you into trouble. But as long as he doesn't know your last name, he must detect it. So you will have enough time to notice his weird behavior, that he is trying to find out your last name, surely to kill you. Then you will know, that he is nobody but Kira...

"I'm (Alias first name). But you have to accept, that I'm not gonna tell you my last name!" You said and waited for his response. He started to look with his beautiful dark eyes deep into your (eye color) eyes. It was as if he was looking for the reason in your eyes.
The waitress came unexpectedly and interrupted your eye to eye contact.
"A big piece of strawberry cake and a sweet tea for you, sir." she said as she placed Hideki's order in front of him and then turned to you and did the same "And..., a strawberry cake and a (coffee sort) for you, madam".
Once she went, you saw Hideki started to put several sugar cubes into his already sweet tea.
'That's not sweet tea anymore, that's wet sugar!!! How can he drink it?' you wondered and saw him taking a sip of his wet sugar. He was holding the cup with index finger and thumb.

'He is very strange.' you thought. 'The way he sits, the way he holds his cup, the way he looks like, the way he stares at me, the way he talks, the way he is soo emotionless! I even dunno what to ask myself about him!'
But all these things only made you more curious to find out more about Hideki. You took a sip of your hot (coffee sort), but as the name said, it was hot and you burned your tongue.
"Be careful, it's hot!" he said coldly but caring and took a drink of his 'wet sugar'.
"Yeah, I noticed that...!" you replied after you were okay.

"Kira, right?" he started after a moment of silence. With some surprise, you looked up from your cup and at first didn't understand what he meant.
Hideki put the strawberry, that belonged to the cake in his mouth. "You don't want to tell me your last name because of Kira, right?" he said coldly while chewing the strawberry slowly.
'Wow...How fast did he find out that?!' you thought surprised but acted calmly while explaining "Umm...I think you already know, that many people, especially the people here in Kanto know, that Kira needs the face and name of someone to be able to kill him! And since I'm new here in Kanto, of course I will be more afraid and careful than the normal people here!"
'As I thought...She follows the Kira case news and knows, that Kira is hiding here in the Kanto region.' Hideki thought and then questioned: "Especially the people here in Kanto?" "I don't believe, that you didn't witness the trap from L to Kira, that worked! L could figure out so many things with just some pieces of information. Kira minded to kill L, but instead of killing him, he killed L's double, Lind.L.Tailor. That's because he knew the face and name of this man and not L, the one he wanted to kill!" you said stable and were vigilant about not making any mistake while talking.

"Are you sure?" 'Huhh???' This question caught your unawares. Warily but indignant, you thought 'What a dumb question?! Of course I'm sure about what I say! Wait...It seems as if he doesn't believe L, but for which reason? Or... Maybe Hideki is Kira and already knows what happened exactly and that L is wrong...!' you wondered and
suspected him a little bit more to be Kira.
Hideki only started to look deep into your (eye color) eyes. It was as if he was trying to figure out if you said the truth or not. Then he continued eating his strawberry cake while keeping his eyes on you like a security camera. He was acting as if he said the most normal thing in the world. Surely he was waiting for a wrong response from you, that could tell him more about you.
You got a little bit nervous...
He confused you with his weird, crazy and stupid behavior....
You were completely engrossed in your mind and your eyes were frozen on Hideki, that you only noticed him staring at you in a semi questioning look for a long while after he waved with his pale hand in front of your face to wake you up and bring you back to the reality.
"Whats wrong with you. Did I confuse you?" His cold voice sounded.
You only stared back at him before saying "Yeah, kinda...! I mean L said that, and I would never expect, that it was only a show. I mean Even L was surprised that his trap worked. It was too real to be acted...! More over I believe every single word, that comes from the worlds greatest detective. You don't think so?" you explained first in an unsure tone, but then in a sure and a bit fiercely tone.

In reality, Hideki liked your answer, but he didn't show any emotion, as usual. 'Yeah that's correct...I'm never wrong. I'm glad to know, that you believe every single word comes from me...!' he thought before saying "Yeah, he is the greatest detective. Even I would never think, that he is wrong in anything."
Then he put a big piece of his strawberry cake in his mouth and finished half of the cake. "I just wanted to know, what made you so sure." He completed after chewing the bit of cake in his mouth.
You didn't reply. You just took a sip of your (coffee sort).
'He just wanted to know...! Why is he wanting to know that...? What will he aim with that...? What is he wanting to know exactly...? Why can't I find out anything...? And what the hell happens to me, why can't I think clearly?!' you asked yourself angry about losing your concentration while staring the whole time at the strawberry cake in front of you.

"But I can remind you, that Kira only kills criminals. Especially high profile criminals, that actually deserved the death but didn't get their punishment. I actually don't think, that you are a criminal to be so careful and to hide your last name...!" He started and made a short break.
'Damn it...!' you thought as you lifted your head to face him. You had no idea what you wanted to return. 'That's impossible... I planned everything alright... I know I have my reasons for hiding my last name, but I'm too confused and nervous to have a clear mind...!' you said to yourself and tried again to think of a good excuse...
But without luck...
Hideki was successful in making you unable to think clearly.

"Unless..." he created tension. Possibly to shock you with what he was going to say next.
"Unless... you investigate in this case and therefore you have to hide your full name, because it would be dangerous for you if Kira met you. He will become suspicious about why you are hiding your name. He surely would either think you investigate against him or you are a criminal, that is afraid of Kira, certainly because you know, you are a high profile criminal, which means, that Kira is definitely going to kill you. In both points, he would do everything to find out your name, that he needs to kill you."

'...'
no thoughts...
no movement...
nothing...
but shock...
you were shocked...
'H...how did...did he..get that idea???' you stutteringly said to yourself as you got out of the trance that you got from the shock.
'Only a genius is able to conceive something like that in a really short time. He didn't even need any time to think about that!!!' you wondered and asked yourself who Hideki really is.
"In other words, it wasn't clever from you to hide your last name. You better had used an Alias." he continued and drank a bit of his sweet tea.
'He is also giving me advises...trying to help me...Seems that Hideki is more likely to be an investigating person than Kira. In addition, Hideki is NOT keen on finding out my real name...!' you took a deep breath. 'It's just as Hideki said before. Kira would do everything to find out who I really am and my name. Kira wouldn't tell me to be more careful, unless...unless he wants to win my trust so that I can trust him and then he will kill me after he used me for anything he wanted. But that's more unlikely.' You thought and drank a sip of your coffee.

"You seem to be a beginner and don't know enough, but actually it's known to have an Alias. Especially the FBI and other investigating organizations would never have someone without Alias." Hideki took another bit of his cake and continued while chewing it. "Hmm, maybe you don't belong to any investigation organizations and are investigating alone...! That would explain your carelessness..."
