"FLESH!!!" The desire for flesh was so strong. Moonfish leaped out of the trees and he sent more blades raining down at Michiyo's way. 

Todoroki put down the Class B student and he fearlessly made a run for her way. He didn't think about his own safety and he went to rescue her. It was not important whether or not she needed rescuing, it's the matter of protecting her. He tackled her in the form of a hug and he formed an ice dome over the two of them. Michiyo saw this and she used her Quirk to create a layer of diamond to stop the blades protruding in. 

"Michiyo, are you okay?!" 

"I'm fine." 

"What are you doing here-" Todoroki was about to ask her a lot of questions but Michiyo grabbed his head and made him look at her.

"Now's not the time. Listen, the moment I say go, make a run for it." She looked at her left to see the wall that was protecting Bakugou and the fainted Class B student being attacked again and again, ice chipping away. "It's alright. We'll run back to your friend. Run and don't look back." 

"Michiyo..." 

Michiyo looked at him with a serious look on her face, "Trust me, Shouto." 

Todoroki looked at her, a little hesitant and confused. The Michiyo right now was a lot different from the Michiyo he had seen. But for some reason, he could find it in himself to trust her. What was this feeling he was sensing from her and only her? "I trust you." 

Seeing the trust in his eyes and hearing that she trust her without questioning, Michiyo smiled at him. 

"You want me to run back to Bakugou, right? I'm ready when you are." 

'Bakugou...' Hearing that name, her own heart hurts a little. 'No! I'm Michiyo in this world! Don't forget that!'

"Give me your flesh!" Moonfish's attacks were relentless, he's not letting Bakugou have the chance to attack! "Huh?" 

He saw Todoroki run out of the dome of ice. "FLESH!" 

Michiyo predicted Moonfish will want to attack Todoroki. She followed after Todoroki and she defended Todoroki from the rain of teeth-like blades by creating a diamond wall from the air as she swiped her hand. She was able to protect Todoroki as well as Bakugou. 

"What's this? Diamonds?" Bakugou could see Michiyo through the ice. "Who...is that?" Somehow, the girl with blue hair looked so familiar.

She then touched the ground and she created a diamond flooring as well as covering her body with a diamond layer. "Use your fire!" 

He understood immediately what she wanted to do. Using his left side, Todoroki sent a powerful blast of fire right at Moonfish's direction. 

"Useless. I can just jump away!" Jump away he did, but what he didn't predict was Michiyo making a diamond pillar and jumping out of Todoroki's fire. "Huh...?" 

The layer of diamonds began to turn into dust from her body except for her right arm. Without hesitation, she punched Moonfish in the face with her fist, knocking out a couple of teeth in the process. 

"You...!" Moonfish used his blades and he stabbed her. 

Todoroki gasped when he saw more blades were made high up in the air. "Michiyo!" 

But Michiyo was not hurt at all. After all, nothing could cut diamond apart from another diamond. She took the chance and she blew diamond dust at Moonfish's always opened mouth. Realizing he had breathed in something he wasn't supposed to take in, Moonfish had no choice but to kick her away. Moonfish escaped for the time being, trying not to choke.

Todoroki made a pillar of ice to rise up and he caught Michiyo with his arms.

"Shouto, you know I won't die from a fall." 

"I have no intentions of letting you fall down by yourself." 

When she looked at his color contrasting eyes, she couldn't help but feel conflicted. The part of her who was in love with Dabi and the part of her who saw herself with Todoroki through Kirishima's eyes...she didn't know what to do. "I'm sorry." 

"Why are you apologizing to me?" The pillar was shrinking down because of the heat he was letting out from his left side.

"Because this is the last time you will carry me like this." 

"That's not true." 

"Huh?" 

"I'll always catch you. If you're about to fall, I'll catch you for sure." His eyes showed her a very true promise. Just like the Todoroki Shouto from different worlds, his words were sincere to her.

She really doesn't deserve it. She really doesn't deserve all these people being so kind to her. 

Out of nowhere and between the trees, a single tooth blade came at their direction at a very fast rate. Todoroki looked over his shoulder and he could see the blade coming at him. 

"Shouto!" Just like the way he wanted to protect her, she wanted to protect Todoroki right now. From under Todoroki's feet, huge diamond-like petals formed and it reversed the blooming process, closing up over Todoroki and Michiyo. No matter how many blades came at them, the huge unbloomed flower that contained them will not let anything outside enter their little world.

"Michiyo..." 

She truly was the diamond flower. In his arms was this girl who was able to control diamonds. 

"I..." What was she doing? She could possibly be ruining the League of Villains' plans if their purpose were to kill the students of U.A.! Why did she jump out like that?! She's betraying Dabi!

But the warmth patting her on the head brought her out of her conflicting mind. She looked at Todoroki to see him patting her head with his left hand. "Thank you for protecting me." 

Todoroki made sure the ice guided them back behind the ice wall where Bakugou was. 

Bakugou watched the diamond flower bloom, releasing Todoroki and Michiyo. She fell forward to him because she had been using her powers constantly. She was getting tired, and she knew for sure the next time she try to conjure diamonds, it will shatter like glass in a matter of minutes.

I don't want to betray Dabi, but I want to protect Shouto from harm. What should I do?

"Who is that girl?" Bakugou demanded answers. 

Michiyo didn't say anything. She's not Yuuki, Bakugou have no reasons to be patient with her. 

"Stop it, Bakugou. She's my friend." 

"Friend? Hah! The villains coming at us from outta nowhere and then this girl appear? She's obviously a villain!" 

Todoroki did not agree. "That guy was attacking her, she's not with them!" 

"Then why is she here?!" 

"I..." What answer should Michiyo give Bakugou? She doesn't know what to do. "Huh?" 

Todoroki held her by the wrist, "I swear on my life she's not with any villains!"

Why was he willing to say that just for her? For someone like her, he's willing to stick up for her?

"Even if the whole world doesn't believe you, I will. That's why..." He looked at her and he smiled gently, "Don't make such a sad face." 

"Shouto..." She wanted to tell him what's on her mind, but they were interrupted by Moonfish's constant interference as well as an incoming Dark Shadow who had went berserk. 

Escape was the last thing on Michiyo's mind right now. How and when should she escape when Todoroki's got his hold on her?
