The door open with a slight hiss and I prepare myself to shoot forward, away from the suited man's sight. However, before I do, I feel a hand on my shoulder. "Tempest!" the bouncer cheers with a heavy Czech accent. "Good to see you finally arrived. Follow me and I'll take you wherever you need to go."
We leave the train. I try to struggle - he's only a fat Healthy after all - but the man leans to me and whispers into my ear: "I have a gun, little one. In my pocket, aiming at you. Just go with me and nobody gets hurt. It's a high-caliber revolver, so one bullet is enough to cause you big trouble."
He lets me turn around and I see he wasn't bluffing. His other hand is in the pocket of his jacket and I see a familiar shape underneath the fabric. Maybe it's only a fake gun, but I can't risk it. The apparent muzzle is just a few centimeters away from my ribs.
And so I follow the man into an inconspicuous blue car where two other men in suits are waiting. They are also armed. Without a word, the bouncer hurls me inside. I take a seat next to another man, much slimmer with a face resembling a rat. Then I feel a sting of a needle in my arm and my consciousness fades to black.

I can consider it a success when I manage to sleep more than three hours a night. My mind is restless and I'm constantly plagued by thoughts and questions. I am also distracted by the barely audible buzzing sound of the device which replaced my heart. Also, the slightest sound from the outside makes my blood boil.
It's apparently called misophonia, but why should I care about big words when I can't have a fucking decent sleep? My restlessness leads to the lack of sleep which leads to more restlessness. It's a cycle I have no hope of breaking. Maybe if I had someone to soothe me...
The office which became my room is much larger than necessary. Valentina told us we'll live like kings once we claim the AVIA Tower for ourselves, but I feel rather small in this giant building filled with advanced technology.
I miss sleeping in caverns, hollows and abandoned, crumbled buildings. Even the room Krzystof, my former Neoclash partner, gave me wasn't as bad as this.
Nothing in this new life can satisfy me.
I can never be in complete darkness since the lights of the city which never seems to sleep, just like me, shine at me through the office's glass wall. One eye is enough to perceive it and even when I close it, there are still some lights on my closed eyelids.
Am I going crazy? Or am I already?
With my remaining eye, I stare at the ceiling high above me. The bionic and natural parts of my torso create an unpleasant contrast which also doesn't help much. Maybe I should just stand up and leave. Right now. But I'm aware my plan has to be way more elaborate.
Suddenly, I catch a glimpse of movement with the corner of my eye. Without moving even an inch, I glance to the side. My peripheral vision is able to capture a dark shadow opening the window from the outside. Someone had to climb all the way up. Or is it a ghost?
