Darkness Rising Pt. 5

"I could forbid you from going," Ratchet said as I began to follow after the three.

I put my gun into my holster and looked up at him "I'm not that scared little Sector 7 lab rat anymore, Ratchet, it's time for me to do my part for Team Prime...that way the twins and Cliffjumper didn't die in vain,"

The three groaned once we got off the ground bridge.

"It'll take some getting used to," I told them

"Whoa," Miko marveled as we looked at the satellite array in front of us.

We ran inside, Raf and I immediately set ourselves up in front of a computer.

"Security sure is lax in this place," Miko noted

"We're in," Raf and I said simultaneously.

"And so are the Decepticons," I noted looking on the screen.

"What?" Jack asked

"How can you tell?" Miko asked

I pointed to the screen "Schematics with the same Cybertronian math you guys saw on their ship,"

"But this time, I can download them," Raf said taking out a flash drive.

"Clever boy," I marveled as he plugged in the flash drive.

"It's got to be the space bridge," Miko said

"The Decepticons are syncing it to the dishes, but I can sync to them,"

"Will they know?" Jack asked

"Even if the Decepticons see that I'm in the system, they'll have no idea I'm in the house," I explained as I typed away at the computer. "They're locked on to Cybertron but not for long," I typed away "The dishes are heading back towards Cybertron. I'll just undo that again,"

"What happens when the 'cons realize they're being punked?"

"It's only virtual combat. You know, like online gaming,"

"Yeah, Jack," Raf said

"What are the 'cons gonna do? They're probably, like 1,000 miles away," Miko said

I noticed a reflection on the screen. "Raf take over!" I ordered as I turned around and fired at the tentacle. "Scrap! I forgot about Soundwave,"

"Soundwave?" Jack asked

"The Decepticon's hacker if you will. Raf, I need you to stay on the computer as long as possible,"

"I won't let them lock on again," Raf told me

"Hyah!" Miko cried as she swung an ax at Soundwave.

"Miko!" I cried out as Soundwave hit her to the wall.

Soundwave was able to grab the ax.

"You handed it an ax?!" I exclaimed

"Not good," Raf muttered

I noticed the screen show that the satellites had realigned with Cybertron "No!" I shouted running after Soundwave's tentacle into the room he had housed himself. 

Soundwave turned towards me as I aimed my weapon at him, firing all I had as he took off.

"Why is he leaving?" Miko asked

Raf ran over to a cord "He cut the hard wire. The dishes are locked on to Cybertron...for good,"

I gasped as I felt a pang go through me, letting out a cry as I fell forward.

"Pixel!" Jack called out worried as he caught me. He took out his cell phone "Ratchet we need a ground bridge...NOW!"
