Chapter 5 - The "TALK"

"That's why I say forget about her and move on. Steph's right, she might not be the one and you will be wasting away pining after a chick that might never return the same kind of love you clearly have for her, forget about her and move onto someone that obviously have a thing for you and isn't shy about it either!" Gio says and I looked at him confused as shit, what the hell was he talking about and I was about to ask him this, when he continued.

"Wake up and move on, who knows, you might be able to make Aurora see what she's missing and that might wake her the fuck up and see what she will be loosing when she sees you moving on with Maddie" he finishes and then Jay and Dimi chuckle, but I looked at him like his fucking stupid for even bringing Maddie into this.

"What the fuck are you talking about? I'm not going to use Maddie to pretend to be into me just make Aurora jealous or "wake her up" like you put it, fuck no you're crazy!" I said to Gio and he laughs at me like I made a damn joke!

"You're so fucking blind, it's comical. Maddie doesn't have to pretend to be into you because she is in love with you brother, and you're too caught up in a woman that won't give you the time of day, to see what's infront of you!" Gio says and then reach for a beer and gulped it down, like my stupidity is urking him to no end. Where as I am confused as fuck, I had no fucking clue what his talking about, why? Because it's bullshit!

"What the fuck are talking about?! Maddie is my best friend, nothing more than that, and she will never be anything but my friend, she doesn't look at me in that way and believe me the feeling is mutual! Don't try and put shit in my mind that doesn't exist!" I yelled at him and he laughs again in my fucking face, pissing me off more.

"That's what happens when you've been only fucking the women all your life, like it's the end of the fucking world, instead of taking the damn time to get to know them! You are so fucking clueless that Maddie would be begging you to be with her and you would still not get it! She's been pining for you for so many years and you were to busy fucking everything with a whole, to even notice it! You of all people should by now know what it looks or feels like to be pining for someone, may-" Gio was busy saying when Steph cut him off.

"ENOUGH!" Steph shouted and everyone went quiet. "Gio shut the fuck up! You had no right do this the way you did!" Steph said and Gio mumbled something about trying to wake my ass up but Steph ignored him and turned to me.

"Look Dante, not everything this idiot said was wrong. We could see it back then and we can see it now too, Maddie clearly has feelings for you that goes beyond friendship, I mean even Kiara saw it last night. But I understand why you don't see it, because you only have your eyes set on one woman and I am not saying you must use Maddie to make Aurora jealous, I told Maddie to stay with us for you, and if it helps to wake Aurora up, then so be it but it she still doesn't give a fuck, I know having Maddie here will help you move on. Maddie is a cool chick and she's completely in love with you, she's the distraction that you need, whether it's as a friend or more" Steph says and I looked at him not believing that Maddie has feelings for me, how could I not see it. I mean sure I believe Steph but I cannot believe that I didn't see it.

"Dante when I ran into Maddie, I immediately saw a solution to my baby brother's troubles, I did my part and brought her to you and invited her to stay in my home with you, so now the ball is in your court, what you do with this and the new information we have given you today, is completely up to you but from now on, pull yourself together and maybe take some of the advice that was given here today and forget about Aurora until you know with out a doubt, that she's not playing games with you but until then, LET HER GO! If you two are meant to be than it will be, if not don't waste your life pining for something you can't have and forget her!" He says like it's the easiest thing in the world to do, I couldn't sit here anymore, they just don't understand, they don't get it, they never will!
