"I'll be sure to get us the most optimal seats!" Peridot assured, "Come, Lazuli! Before they get taken!"

"Right..." Lapis Lazuli sighed as she slowly walked behind Peridot, occasionally glancing back at Y/n as they got into line and tapped on their phone, "...What do you think is up with Y/n?" Lapis Lazuli asked Peridot.

"I'm not sure," Peridot said, "Well... Pregnant humans do form in the stomach area, perhaps they really are pregnant!"

Lapis Lazuli laughed as she took another look at Y/n, turning back with a grin, "I've got a feeling that isn't it,"

"Er... Perhaps it's a rash like Steven had just a while ago!" Peridot surmised as the two walked into the theater

"No... Didn't see any red splotches on their stomach... Besides, Steven was just uncomfortable not... Violent" Lapis Lazuli recalled

"It eludes me then, perhaps they are really fine," Peridot shrugged as she looked around, "Ah! There! Those seats have the most optimal viewing angle!" Peridot proclaimed as she pointed to the middle of an upper aisle, darting towards them then diving into one, "Lazuli! Sit two seats to the right of me, Y/n will take the middle."

Lapis Lazuli nodded as she sat down on the seat, pushing herself all the way back as she put her arms straight on the rests, looking from side to side then at the screen, "Did the movie start already?"

"No, no, these are called 'advertisements' they display a product or service to buy," Peridot told

"...And we payed to get shown stuff we didn't wanna see in the first place?" Lapis Lazuli frowned as she unzipped the backpack, lifting Pumpkin out and into her lap

"No!... Y/n payed, we don't have any money," Peridot reminded

"Right..." Lapis Lazuli nodded as she scanned the aisle, seeing no one in the theater until a familiar shape entered from behind a wall. They quickly scanned the room, their eyes locking with hers as they smiled, a bag and cup in their hand as they walked up the seas, "Hey, where's all the other people?"

"Probably not coming," Y/n told as they sat down, "I picked a movie that's been out for a while so everyone's probably already seen it,"

"Ah, a very smart idea!" Peridot affirmed, "I see you've brought heated corn kernels coated in churned milk, mixed with sodium chloride."

"Peri," Y/n laughed, "It's popcorn with salted butter. Just say that."

"Why? How else am I supposed to show of my superior intellect!" Peridot proclaimed

"Listen, I already know you're smart. You don't have to prove anything to me," Y/n told, not paying attention as Lapis Lazuli shoved her hand into the bag

"Ugh, fine. I'll use your simplistic language..." Peridot muttered as she crossed her arms

"Thank you," Y/n hummed as they turned to the other side and saw Lapis Lazuli feeding pop corn to Pumpkin, "She seems to be having fun,"

"Mhm," Lapis Lazuli nodded as she looked over, "Want her to sit in your lap?"

"Oh uh," Y/n blushed as they looked away and grabbed their shirt lightly, "That's okay, I uh appreciate the offer though,"

Lapis Lazuli frowned as she looked to their hand, patting Pumpkin gently, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine! Really! The movie's gonna start soon..." Y/n sighed as they looked away, taking a fistful of popcorn then shoving it into their mouth.

Y/n yawned loudly as they stomped up the stairs and into their room, stretching out as Peridot and Lapis Lazuli walked behind them. The sun had set hours ago and light seemed to have vanished from the room as it was almost pitch dark. Y/n smacked their lips together and took a few steps forward, "Man, you guys really like to do a lot of stuff..."
