From you seeming so determined to put a stop to whatever Cerius had placed in the hands of some mortal... to now suddenly losing interest. Your personality shifted like the wind... and was just as unpredictable.
"We're almost there anyway..." He mumbled, turning and walking quickly off once more. "So try and keep up for a little while longer, useless goddess..."
Your eyes narrowed, and with an irritated face, you continued to follow the foul-tongued male through the thicket. Your footsteps and his falling into line as silence greeted the both of you. His mind wandering and trying to figure out what to say next... what to ask you of next. There were so many things he wanted to ask and tell you, but now didn't seem like the right time, especially when things were not exactly in a good place.
He froze in place suddenly, his chest and the feeling that had been building up inside of it fading after what he could only describe as a bursting within his chest. The sensation strange, but also making him feel better than new. The feeling now occupying him felt on the edges of his skin and also the core of his soul. Like a warm and powerful glow had come over him and taken hold of him, hushing him with a gentle lullaby.
"So it's finally set in." You muttered, making your way in front of him. "And it appears that unlike my first attempt, plan B is holding up much better."
Bakugou looked at you with his carmine colored irises, your face smiling gently at his confusion from your words. A gentle waving of your hands letting him know that you were allowing for his queries if he had them at this moment.
"So what the hell did you exactly do to me?" He spoke, holding up his arm as the small ram stone bumped against his skin. "And why the hell can't I take this off now?"
You copied his actions, holding up your own stone. The small winged snake swaying back and forth in a gentle rhythm as your lips parted slowly. Eyes of (eye color) momentarily flickering between the natural color and the hidden ones that held your mark.
"Do you remember what happens to me if my body takes on too much damage?" You asked him, seeing as his features perked up at the memory.
"Yeah, it dissolves and then you reform." He spoke, motioning towards his sword that had once struck you repeatedly. "Oh... and that stone is left behind."
"Precisely." You nodded, motioning for the both of you to keep moving. "But... the way my stone works and how Arus' will work for you is different..."
"How so?" He asked, using a rather large swing to cut through an array of twisted vines before moving through them with you close behind.
"You're smart, Bakugou." You chuckled, covering your mouth with the back of your palm. "Surely you must realize that you can no longer feel physical exhaustion any more... like myself and my siblings."
He paused, sword caught on nothing but air. His gaze turning to you and looking at you with a shocked expression. The stone on his wrist feeling that much heavier then it had before. There was no way... how could you have made him-
"The stones are a means of placement. If my physical form is destroyed, then I can reform as long as my stone is here. And by returning my stone to my realm, I can heal the damages it took in this world as well as my own magical form.
For you... it's different. The stone is holding your soul currently since your body no longer can. I also placed your shard of Arus inside as well, since the same problem came when I tried to put it into your body. But for you, your body will continue to age and grow as long as that stone is there."
"And if it's not?" Bakugou asked, gulping down the pitiful nerves that were building up.
"If that stone leaves your body for more than a few feet... then your body returns to the state mortal's forms are left in after they die. Good thing is that it starts over every time your stone leaves the skin... but you also won't be able to put it back. It's pretty much that your soul returns to me, only you won't be aware of it.
