Oneshot: Sal x Paralyzed!Reader|| I'll protect you

What we didn't, even after all of our walks, was that the other side of the bushes was a large, rocky fall. The second we passed through the bushes and made it to the fall, we began to tumble. I fell from my wheelchair, rolling my down the slope, hitting rocks all the way down.

When I finally stopped rolling, every body part I could feel, burned. I slowly opened my eyes to see my cut up and bleeding hands, with some small pebbles caught in my shin. I looked to my left to see my chair on its side, a bit bent from the fall. Then I looked to my right to see a blooded blue haired boy.

It took me a second to truly process what had happened, but when I did my heart sank.
"S-sal?... Sa-l!" I called, to get no answer. I tried to lift myself only to wince in pain, as the small rocks in my hands was pressed a little deeper. I then looked at my chair that wasn't to far away.

l slowly crawled my way over trying not to stop because I was to worried about Sal. When I get to my chair I sat it up right a slowly got into it. I then rolled over to Sal.

He's arms and clothes were stained with a dark crimson. His body was limp and laid almost lifeless. His prostatic came undone a bit, showing a bit of his cheek the had a long gash cut into it. I lended foreword trying to check his heart beat, almost falling out in the process... he was alive.

I finally let go of the breath I had been holding and looked up. The night sky had almost taken over leaving me and Sal in the dusk.
'I have to find the road.' I thought as I looked down at Sal. I reached down and fixed his prosthetic, knowing he was insecure about his face. Then with all the strength I could muster I pulled him up on my wheelchair, sitting him on my lap.

When I sat him on my lap I noticed a huge cut on his right arm gushing blood. With no supplies, I ripped my shirt and wrapped it around the wound the best I could. Then with one arm around Sal and the other on my wheel, I started to move.

The warm day was replaced with a cold night. I shivered, bring Sal a bit closer to me, his body was freezing, but I had to keep him warm. I continued to roll for what felt like forever, lost, confused, and scared that I was getting further and further away.

I stopped to take a quick breath when in the dark I saw a moving light. I watched as the light moved around, scanning the woods.
"H-hello?" I said weakly, feeling my dry throat burn a bit. " Heello!" I said a bit louder.

The light stopped and then panned over to me.
" Oh my god!" I heard but was blinded from the light. I heard walking and then saw a familiar face.
" L-lisa!" A smile formed on my  cracked and blooding lips.
" Oh (Y/N), don't worry I've got an ambulance waiting, let's get you and Sal back!"

She quickly walked behind me and as she did she pulled out a walkie talkie that looked a lot like Larry's. She took hold of my wheelchair and said into the talkie.
" I found them, I'm heading back now. They're very injured, (Y/N)'s awake, but Sal isn't." I heard her continue to talk as she pushed us, so I looked at Sal.

I placed my hand on his chest to feel it slowly rise and fall. He saved me from the snake, but got both of us hurt in the process, him much worse then me. If he would of let that snake bite me, he could of easily brought me back to the apartments for help, and yet here we were; Him barely breathing in my arms. I let tears fall from my eyes as I pull him closer, nodding off every so often.

I was half asleep when we made it to the apartments. The dark had taken over completely, leaving everything as shadows. Many of the residence of the apartments were in the front yard waiting, standing by the ambulance in its lights flashing.
" There's Lisa!" Henry, sal's dad, said, pointing. The crew that brought the ambulance pulled out the stretcher from the back and went over to Lisa.
