"Fine! Damn it! Give me the pill, and I'll do it!"
"That's a good boy," Jason praises, tossing him the pill.
"Awh, but he didn't say please," Tim murmurs with a sly smile. Jason chuckles.
"Shall we continue then?" Jason says, sitting back in his chair and placing the gun to his desk, within arms' reach to both men.
"You left off talking about equity, sir. Now if I heard right you're asking for 60%? And for hmm.. perhaps the chemical to be removed?" Tim repeats.
"Perfect, thanks for the reminder. Now, do we have a deal?" Jason asks.
"Yes.." Yusuro responds, face still a bright red, and standing. Tim figured he was embarrassed.
"Great! Thanks for doing business." Jason gets up, and puts his hand out to shake. As expected, the man grabs the gun. Tim throws his knee up into the man's gut, allowing Jason to easily grab it and turn it on the other.
"Oh, a new offer? 65% equity?" Jason asks. The man goes pale.
"Uh.. yes... yes." The man says.
"Wonderful! I already have it typed here, all you have to do is sign." Jason pulls out a paper, and written verbatim is an official document. He has no choice but to do what he asked.
"Okay, now get the fuck out of here. And don't try to cross me again." Jason says, falling back into his chair with a sigh.
The two scurry out the door, not before kicking over a vase like idiots, in attempts to prove a point, and slamming the door behind them.
"I just lost brain cells." Tim mumbled. "I need a drink."
"Believe it or not, the man's said to make about 100k a year. Not horrible, especially since I'm now making, what, 65k a year only off of him?"
"You enjoy doing this? This is what you do in your free time?"
"Hell no. I'd much rather be on the streets. It was fun screwing around with this one guy.. Roman.. Roman Sionis? Seemed like he knew what he was doing. Wasn't a complete idiot, y'know? Whatever," Jason sighs. He gets up from his chair, and caters to his leg as he stands.
There's a small bar off to the side, perfect for any business man wanting to take the edge off off of his partner. Tim's half ashamed of himself that he hadn't even realized it. Why else would've Jason specifically asked for one of his henchmen to bring in wine if he had some stashed away here? Tim couldn't tell if Jason was just careless, or that he knew the mental capacities of most the people he were dealing with were low. Jason circles the bar, Tim on his heels and sitting on a stool.
"Celebratory midday drink for my new second in command?" Jason asks, pulling out a bottle of wine. "I'd seen your eyes light up before, so I felt bad telling you not to drink it," Jason comments. Tim giggles and nods.
"Sure. Do you drink red a lot?"
"Do you?" Jason counters, popping it open and pouring with a certain, practiced precision into a glass.
"I'd like to," Tim admits quietly, moving his glass in small circles absentmindedly in a habit, watching the wine. Jason pours himself a glass, and clinks it with Tim's.
"To us?" He asks, raising the glass to his lips. Tim chuckles.
"To us," he confirms, taking a grateful sip. Tim shifts, crossing his one leg over the other. The tension already thickens; they had a lot to talk about. Jason can sense it from across the bar, and leans forward to his elbows.
