I blinked my eyes and looked at him when the bright pink pendant

I had lost on this year's freshmen orientation day gently slipped from his slinky finger tips.

"I-I believe this is yours..n-noona! (Older sister)"

Lawrance stammered miserably.

"You d-dropped this near the cheerleading stage.."

"Aha.. This is the present I got from my dad for my birthday! I can't believe you actually found it."

I chirped quickly grabbing my accessory when realisation gradually struck me.

"You..! You..!! You were stalking me for a month just to give me this..!!!?? You seriously have some issues, man!"

I was shocked out of wits.

The guy flinched and started slowly. "Like I k-keep telling you.. I did not actually 'stalk-"

"But, you could have just handed it over to me directly or at least passed it on to my friends ...instead of acting all suspicuo"

I interrupted Lawrence again not bothering to listen to the rest of his words.

To which he replied. "I-I.. I tried... But, I-I was too scared to talk to you and y-your friends always shooed me away.. After a while, I did want to give up. B-But then..I-I.."

He paused equipping my curiousity.

"...I..noticed that cheating b-bastard was having nasty i-intentions over you for a while now.. I had to k-keep him in check by s-stalking him so he wouldn't h-hurt you.. And.. Like I told y-you I wasn't stalking y-you.. "

Said Lawrence more strongly and concerned this time.

Unexpectedly, the hunch I had about Lawrence turned out right.

See, I always knew Lawrence was not the person who emitted that scary aura all along. It turns out he really didn't try to stalk 'me'.. either. But, that it. It explains everything.

"So.. You were all of this for sake of your sense of duty and not because you actually had a crush on me, eh?.."

I asked him then.

That was really a bummer.

Wait..? That's bummer?? Why the hell was that a bummer!? Do I find him interesting simply because he was nice enough to save me when I still do not know a thing about him??

"What i mean is...I-Its not like I care or anything about that alright..? Don't misunderstand..." I cleared my throat. But, I could swear I was blushing right now. "I am simply grateful you-"

Fortunately, Lawrance didn't seem to notice anything at all. He stammered again.

"No. That's an understatement.I d-do like you. Honestly, I think.. I wouldn't do any of this to someone I do not have a crush on."

He said straightforwardly as though it was obvious.

I felt my cheeks flush more intensively at his unexpected set of words.

Gosh.. That was pretty smooth confession..

To be honest..I never expected this guy was this forward.

And, saying something like this with such a sweet and milky voice is..

I coughed vehemently and rub my mouth trying hard to hide that crazy smirk on my lips from him.
