「 Hellish Fight 」

Once I arrived I noticed Marie hiding behind her umbrella prop as always. When I started to jog over to her, she quickly turned into her squid form and went down the man hole. I followed suit.

After a quick chat with the former idol, I walked over a manhole, excitedly jumping in. Fighting like this always gets me pumped.

I squid jumped to the first floating platform, Marie discussing the environment and other topics with me through the ear piece. Everything was going pretty smoothly as splatting the octarians was no real problem.

"You're close to the baby zapfish! One more wave of enemies and you're through!" Marie cheered with a determined voice.
"tch, too easy.." I calmly stated, smirking to myself. I could feel that Marie rolled her eyes just then, but I ignored that feeling and went on confidently.

Just as I was about to reach the launch pad, I heard a somewhat high pitched voice.

"Too easy you say?"

I was immediately slammed to the ground, the attacker jumping from a nearby, higher structure and kicking me in the face.
I quickly looked up to see an inking with long pink tentacles tied up in a pony tail. They seemed to be a female and her eyes weren't visible as she wore special octoling goggles that were pink and black.

She went in the axe kick me but I rolled out of the way in time. I heard the Inkling curse from the pain of slamming her leg to the ground but she just looked up and gave me a disapproving, dark glare.

Quickly getting up, I grabbed my hero shot and started shooting. "You do realize you have to aim, right?" The pink haired girl smirked, laughing in amusement as she dodged my ink bullets.

She ran towards me, taking out a strange weapon. It seemed to be a staff with a blade at the top, laced with ink.

The inkling swung the weapon at me as I just barely moved out of the way in time. I felt strange as we mostly fought physically and not with ink guns. I finally kicked the weapon out of her hand as she tried to stab my head.

She watched the staff slide off the platform with wide eyes. "

"I guess we're doing this my way, Pinky!" I took out my hero shot and aimed at her surprised face. The pink inkling scoffed, jumping to higher ground to grab her preferred weapon from a secret compartment.

Taking out an seemingly octoling skinned charger, she smirked, "Pinky? Already giving me a pet name? Didn't know I was that attractive."

I immediately blushed but then moved out of the way of her ink bullet. Her aim was precise and every shot was getting closer and closer to hitting me.

Finally she ran out of ink and glared at me as a grinned playfully, taking the chance to splat her.
I hid in the ink as she shot the ground and submerged herself into it. Swiftly, I swam over to her little podium, inking the side and swimming up it.

I should have expected it, but she was waiting for me and pushed me off the side into the abyss, smirking as she did so.
"Laters, Blue!"

I respawned, just noticing Marie yelling at me through the ear piece.

"Agent 4! Break her goggles and she'll go back to normal! I think she's being controlled!" The grey tentacled squid commanded as I nodded.
