(In this AU/oneshot you're the lead singer of Paramore who is working on a song with IDkhow.)

"Play that again." I told Taylor, who had just strung something random on his guitar. We were sitting in my living room, waiting for Dallon and Ryan to arrive.

 "This?" He replayed what I had heard before. 

"Yes, that. I think It could work for something. Zac, what do you think?" I asked. "Yeah, I think I could add something to that." 

"Make sure to bring it up to them to see what they think." They nodded in agreement. My doorbell chimed. I scurried to the door in excitement. I hadn't seen them in a while, years actually. 

"Hey Y/n." Dallon went in for a hug. When he pulled away, I thought I saw a hint of relief in his eyes. 

"Good to see you Dall." I returned his kind attitude and hug. 

He smiled warmly, looking at me up and down, seeing if I was still who he remembered. We locked eyes for a second. A little too long I think. It became awkward for Ryan who was standing next to him. 

"Long time no see." Ryan stepped in front of him to greet me. 

"Ryan!" We exchanged our secret handshake. 

"Come in guys." I motioned for them to enter, stepping to the side. 

"Redecorate?" Dallon asked scanning the room.

"Yeah.

"I like it." He looked back at me genuinely smiling. There was something so sweet about it. 

We started working on the song, singing and playing what we had come up with separately. I was catching Dallon glancing at me when he sang or even when Ryan was talking to me. Time went by quickly, but there was still a lot of work to be done. 

"Guys, there're some lyrics I left in my piano room. Gonna go get them if you don't mind." I excused myself stepping away. I walked into the room to grab my song book. I picked it up, flipping the pages for the lyrics. The page was found, but I decided I should practice it before showing the boys. My fingers lightly touched the keys. Just as I was about to play, Dallon wandered into the room. He sat next to me. 

"Can I hear it?" He spoke quietly. 

"Umm... yeah sure." I responded awkwardly.

I softly sang the lyrics and played along. It was merely a short 60 seconds of lyrics if not less. When I finished, I turned to see what Dallon thought. I was baffled to be kissed instead of given constructive input. I returned it for a second, only to turn away abruptly. 

"I'm sorry... I don't know what... I'm just sorry." Dallon shamefully muttered. "I just.. I just missed you." 

"Dallon." I held his face to look at me. "It's ok." I pulled him in for another kiss, his hands landing on my waist. We pulled away slowly, as I wrapped him in a hug, resting my head on his shoulder. "I missed you too." 

(I don't know if that was good or not, but there's still lot's of room for improvement. Please comment what you think and what I should do next ;)
