You couldn't really digest what Adrian said. You were the most average looking girl compared to the ones around.

" So what are you gonna do about it?", Adrian questioned.

" Nothing. There's no way I am going to get involved.", you answered.

Your conversation was interrupted by Adrian's phone.

" I'll have to leave..", he said looking at his phone.

" Okay. But don't be a stranger please..", you said.

" I won't doll face. I won't", he said and he kissed you on your cheek.

" Bye bye", he said and walked off.

Your shift was about to get over in a few minutes. Nancy would be here any moment for her shift. You cleared the bar station of all the used glasses and started to clean it using an old rag.

Hey there gorgeous", said the man Adrian had told you about.

" How can I help you?", you asked.

" Y/n you can leave. I'll get him his drink", you heard Nancy.

" Okay. Thanks", you said.

You picked your phone and started walking just when you felt someone had grabbed your wrist.

" You leaving already? How about we spending time",

" I'll kindly ask you to stop Sir", you said.

" And why is that?", he had a grin on his face

" Because flirting with the bartender is against the rules",

" So can you please let go off my arm", you requested him.

" Hey come on..", the sentence was interrupted.

" Let her go..", you heard a deep raspy voice. It was Harry's.

" Or what are you gonna do?", the man said.

" Or else I would not hesitate to bash your head against the counter...", he said.

Your eyes went wide listening to what Harry said. The man did let go of your arm, stood up and left.

" Thank you", you said in a barely audible tone and left.

You grabbed your coat and walked out of the bar. The moment you stepped out you felt someone grab you.

" Hello again", the man said, he had a knife placed at your throat.

" Get your hands off me!",

" This wouldn't have turned off to be like this only if you behaved back there in the bar", he said.

Your eyes started to tear up as you were scared. Your mind when blank and you couldn't think of anything.

You felt someone pulling him off of you. It was Harry

" Look at her again, even breath next to her, all of these bullets would be inside your head", he punched him.

" Are you alright?", Harry asked.

" Yeah. I am fine", you said brushing off the tears.

Harry notices a little cut on your neck caused due to the knife.

" Come with me?", he grabbed your hands and walked you towards his car.

He pulled out a first aid box from the car. He took out some cotton and a bottle of disinfectant. He stepped closer to you and placed the cotton on the cut.

He was gorgeous. Those emerald green eyes were something you haven't seen before. The moment he made eye contact you looked away.

" You'll have to move in with me. I don't want anything happening to you", Harry spoke.

" What!?", you exclaimed. He didn't answer.

" Who was the guy you were talking to earlier", he questioned.

" Adrian", you answered.

" Boyfriend? ",

" Family ",

" Good. I don't want anyone too close to you", he said.

And what he said next had your breathing stopped.
