When his meridians were almost getting bursted with excessive qi, when his body was about to burst into pieces, when he was at the door of his death, his mother couldn't control herself from jumping in between her son and his death. She not only absorbs the excessive qi but also accepted her son's fate of death.

Zhu XiangYu got well at the price of his mother's death. Since then, he has been facing minor qi deviation attacks every now and then.

Whenever Zhu XiangYu remembers this, he cannot help loathing himself. He suffers in great pain as he is unable to forgive himself. He considers himself as his mother's killer. He tried to commit suicide several times before because of his physical and psychological pain. But his family members saved him. Seeing this, his father ordered him to stay alive so that his mother's sacrifice wouldn't go in vain. After that, he stopped those stupid attempts.

Yes, this life is not his own, it's his mother's life. He cannot kill his mother twice. No matter how much pain he has to go through, he'll keep himself alive until he dies.

Two month's ago, the healers gave up on his life and declared that he was going to have his major qi deviation very soon. His qi deviation didn't take place and his father, clan master Zhu MingZhi, brought the solution as well. His complexion was dark and full of anger.

Zhu MingZhi rushed to Zhang Xue at first to discuss the matter. Later Zhang Xue arranged a closed door meeting adding Cheng Sheng this time. After the meeting, Cheng Sheng personally handled the matter.

Just a week ago, Zhu MingZhi told his son to prepare himself to marry a female healer from Lian family from Shui clan and produce an heir with her. Though Zhu XiangYu doesn't have any romantic feelings for her, he still couldn't help feeling somewhat betrayed. Zhu MingZhi also told him that Cheng Sheng had taken the responsibility to bring a female healer from Lian family.

Hearing all these, he was very astonished. But all he said to his father was, "Lian maiden? She must be very pretty, right father?"

Zhu MingZhi's face darkened, "Pretty or not, you have to marry her and produce an heir. Remember that it is something related to your cure. Got it?"

How could he get it? What kind of solution was it- marrying a Lian maiden and producing an heir? It sounded more like a regular family drama than a healing technique to cure him. Was his life devouring illness this much easy to cure?

He couldn't connect the dots. He said, "No, I haven't got anything. You didn't explain anything. Well, I have nothing to say. I will do whatever you want."

The next day, Zhu XiangYu was shifted to a new pavilion near the green mirror lake. This time, he started to believe that his savior from Lian family was really coming.

When he was submerged in such thoughts, his nanny rushed to him and informed that his savior had arrived.

He didn't hope that Lian family would send someone in time. But Brother Cheng Sheng has proved his prowess. He has brought a Lian healer for him. Now he will be able to live and cultivate too.
