She stole my sweater...

Finley had her hands in her hair while Shawn was just staring at her, he didn't know what to do or say to make her feel better. He had seen on her face that she had a tough day today and that it was not going to get away with just some small talk. He knows that she wants to talk with her friends about it because they know her better than he does but he can't stand it that she feels like this while she should be the happiest.
"I am so sorry, you probably think I am one of those girls that can't control her feelings or anything but I promise you I am not like that. It is just that today really is a hard day for me and it hurts me to not be with my friends. I kind of miss home." Finley looks up at Shawn who had his guitar at his lap ready to play some songs to her to make her feel better, in the beginning she didn't feel like spending time with him because she didn't want him to lose sleep because of her.
But when he made her get out of the tour bus and spend some time with him outside looking at the sun going down, she realised that sometimes the little things in life are the things you should appreciate way more. The sun goes down and maybe a piece of her goes down to, maybe a piece of her accepts that it happened to her and that she can't control it just like the sun can't control when to go down.
"I don't think you are one of those girls. I think you are a wonderful girl that went through some things she is still batteling with and that is okay everyone does that. Everyone has bagagge that they need to carry but sometimes it is better to take it down so you can get some rest in your head." Shawn slowly pulls Finley closer to him so she can get used to the feeling of being hugged by someone who cares about her after such a short time.
"I just wished my parents could be around to see all of this happen. I just know they would be so happy for me and would support me. I sometimes just miss the feeling of having a family around me that cares about me and loves me." Finley couldn't control her feelings anymore, the soft feeling of Shawn his hand rubbing her back made her realise that she has people around her that want her to get on with her life and do the things she dreamt off.
Finley looks up at Shawn who just looked at the sunset changing into different colors and maybe a piece of her knew that falling for him was going to be a big mistake to do but maybe it would turn out to be something special. Maybe one day he would feel the same for her and love every broken piece of her so she could do the same to herself, loving herself.
