Darkness Rising Part 2

"They're back aren't they?" Fowler asked.

"If you are referring to the Decepticons, I have doubts they ever left. Your planet is much too valuable," Optimus said. I have to agree with him. Our planet has their most valuable resource, and they would be idiotic to leave it here.

"Then it's time to wake up the Pentagon," Fowler said. I was starting to think this man was a moron. No way the military will be able to take one of those suckers down much less an army.

Optimus must have had the same mind frame because he said, "Hear me, Agent Fowler. We are your best possibly only defense against the Decepticon threat."

"Says you," Fowler countered. I could feel the tension in the room. I was about to attack the agent with logic on how the bots are the only defense against their enemies. However, Bulkhead beat me to it.

"Hey Fleshy, did anyone get splattered on that freeway? Team Prime knows when to use force," he said as he grabbed something, "and how much to use." He crushed whatever he grabbed to try and prove a point. Though something tells me that Ratchet isn't going to be happy.

As if to prove me right, Ratchet yelled, "Bulkhead, I needed that!" I silently laughed thinking that I am going to hear that phrase a lot. Danny was also laughing. I was happy to see my brother finally relax and have some fun after what the GIW did to him.

Optimus sternly said, "Enough! Military involvement will only result in catastrophe. Perhaps you can condone widespread human casualties, Agent Fowler. I, however, cannot."

"Then do us both a favor, and handle this Prime, under the radar..." Fowler said and walked to the elevator, "Or I will."

"Pretty big bearings...for a human." Bulkhead said.

"He is worried about his people's wellbeing. I would be to if their where aliens fighting in my kingdom," Danny said, "Especially, with my daughter and ghost family possibly getting hurt."

"I don't know what would happen if my niece got hurt," I said. The bots looked surprised that Danny had a daughter.

"You have a sparkling? You don't look that old," Bulkhead said.

"She isn't really my daughter. She was to be a clone of me, created by my enemy Plasmius to create the perfect child. He sent her after me to destroy me. However, her core was unstable, and she was slowly fading. In order to save her, I used my own core to stabilize her. That sensually means that she became my daughter and I became her father. She became my pride and joy, but with my parents being ghost hunters and very accident prone. So, I asked Sakura to take her and take care of her until I am old enough to live on my own. She said yes and has kept Danielle out of trouble." Danny explained.

"But she is exactly like you with finding trouble no matter where we go," I said.

"If you don't mind me asking, what is a 'core'?" Optimus asked.

"It is like a ghost's heart. It keeps our ectoplasm from destabilizing and cause us to fade. It also allows us to control an element. Mine and Danny's core is an ice and fire core. Dual cores like this is extremely rare. With these cores we also can survive in the extreme in both heat and cold. Though, Danny prefers the cold, and I prefer the heat." I explained. We suddenly, heard a plip on the monitor.

"Blasted Earth tech! Leadfoot's signal popped back online," Ratchet said.

"Who's Leadfoot?" Miko asked but was ignored. I wasn't paying attention to what was going on in this conversation. Suddenly, Danny and my ghost sense went off. We got tense thinking it is one of our most annoying but powerful opponents. The bots noticed us and where curious as to what had us so tense. We, however, were relived when a certain voice rung out.

"Daddy! Auntie!" Dani shouted, and tackle hugged us to the ground.

"Hey princess, what are you doing here?" Danny asked.

"I came to get Auntie. The person she brought to the zone is awake and fully healed," Danni said.

"Thank you, Dani. I will go speak with him," I said.

"Can I come with you?" Danni asked, "I'd like to get to know him." I knew she would be curious about him.

"If it is ok with your father," I said. She turned to her father and gave him the puppy dog eyes.

"Please, can I go? Please," Dani begged. Danny said ok and she squealed.

"But only if Cujo goes with you," Danny said.

"Ok daddy," she said. It was cute how protective Danny was over his daughter.

"Ready to go?" I said. she said yes, and I opened a portal and walked through.
