Hooked on Herron || Zach Herron x Reader

"Sooo what happened?" Ashley asks.
"So you know how Daniel said I went out to take a call?" I begin
"Yeah" Ashley responds confused.
"I was calling my mom to let her know how everything was going and she suggested I call my dad" I looked down and paused before continuing "He declined the call and when I was gonna start to cry Zach came. And we talked and we almost kissed-"
"YOU AND ZACH ALMOST KISSED!!?!?" Ashley says loudly almost shouting it.
"Shhhhh keep your voice down not everyone needs to know, I haven't told Jack yet." I say
"Wait not even Jack knows?" Ashley asks confused
"No and I don't think I should tel him yet. I wanna figure this out on my own" I said and Ashley nodded in agreement
"Did you lean in to kiss too?" She asks
"Maybe..." I respond quietly
"Wait so why did you guys kiss your so cute together!?" Ashley exclaims
"Well Brianna found us before anything happened. Honestly it was perfect timing" I say. Ashley furrowed her eyesbrows and looked really confused
"Wait but didn't you want to kiss him?" She asks
"No. I don't even know why I was leaning in when he did but no I don't want to kiss him" I say defensively
"So if Brianna wouldn't have came you would've stopped the kiss anyways"
"Yes" I say even though I'm still not sure if I really did want to or not.
"Ugh your so difficult sometimes. Why don't you date him already" She whines
"Because Ash, he has a reputation of being with as many girls as he can be with-"
"Cmon you can't say you don't see the way he looks at you, his eyes literally light up!" Ashley says and gets excited
"I'm sorry to disappoint you but I really don't wanna be with him and I don't plan on being with him anytime soon either"
"Well I guess since there's not point in me trying to convince you otherwise, do you wanna go back outside?" She suggest, I nod and we both get up and out of the tent. We walk back to the table bench everyone was at but Brianna was on her phone instead of trying to get with Zach. That's a first.
"Heyy you're back!" Zach says
"Yeah you guys took a while" Daniel says
"Yeah and why did Ashley shout at some point?" Jack asks
"Oh you heard that?" Ashley asks shyly.
"Yeah kinda but we didn't really hear what you said" Jack responds. I let out a sigh of relief
"Thank god you didn't hear" I said under my breathe but no one except Ashley heard.
"Are you just gonna stand there or sit" Jonah said and chuckled.
"We'll fly" Ashley says dead serious and everyone got quiet "KIDDING geez" She says and awkwardly laughs. "I'll just stop talking" She says and sits across from Jack, where I was earlier. That leaves me with no choice but to be next to Herron and the hoe aka Brianna. I sat in between Ash and Zach, across from Daniel.
"Hey is everything good with your mom" Daniel says
"Uh yeah..yeah she's good, she doesn't really think I should be so easy to trust you guys but it's fine she just doesn't know any of you..well except Jack but yeah but it's fine" I say trying to not think about what almost happened with Zach.
"What about your dad? Does he know your here?" Daniel hesitantly asks. Brianna looks up from her phone and at me. Zach looks at me too with a worried expression since he knows what happened.
"Uh yeah..he knows and said to have fun" He say and give a fake smile.
"Aw that's sweet" Corbyn says. I nod but don't say anything.
"Sooo y/n what was going on back there with you and Zach?" Brianna says out of nowhere with s devilish smirk on her face. Oooooh I was about ready to throw some hands. Zach was obviously surprised by her saying this and looked at me worried. I look at Jack
"What does she mean? 'What happened with you and Zach back there'?" Jack says confused and looks and me and Zach.
"I tried kissing her but she pushed me off and I get why and I'm okay with it" Zach says before I could respond. He's lying.
"Really!?" Brianna says and her voice goes up higher than usual. "Because from what I saw before I got there it looked a lot like Y/n wanted to kiss Zach back and didn't push him off until I got there" She continued. Zach's didn't say anything but his cheeks looked rosier than they usually were. I didn't say anything but stared Brianna down as she did the same.
"Y/n is she lying?" Daniel asks quietly
I break the stare with Brianna and make eye contact with Daniel. He looked broken but why would he? I looked away from his eyes because I couldn't stand seeing him like this. I glanced over at Jack who still looked confused.
"Well is she lying or not" Jack loudly says our if nowhere 
"Dude chill" Jonah says and reaches his arm out to Jack's shoulder but Jack pushes his arm off.
"Is she lying. Or not y/n" Jack says again but more calmly this time
"She's not lying" I said as quietly as possible. Jack doesn't say anything but gets up and walks away somewhere into the forest.
"Jack don't walk away please" I said and started to follow after him. Daniel came up to me and stopped me
"I'll go talk to him" He says and puts his hand on my shoulder. I nod and he was gonna go after him before I stopped him
"Daniel are you okay? You looked kinda devastated back there hearing what almost happened" I ask.
"It's fine y/n don't worry about me. Just" He looks over at the table and sees Jonah and Corbyn talking to Zach. "Just be careful with Zach. He has a bad reputation and isn't very caring of who he hurts" Daniel says and jogs to catch up to Jack where ever he went. I walk back to the table where they were lecturing Zach.
"Guys!" I shout and they all stop talking. Zach looked at me right away, obviously worried about whatever I was about to say "Don't attack Zach for this it wasn't his fault"
