Lauren opened the door to see Jaime panting. "Jaime, what the hell?" she said confused. "Did you...run....here?"
"YES BUT THAT DOESN'T MATTER I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING IMPORTANT!" Jaime shouted practically screaming. Lauren shushed her. "Jaime shut up!" she hissed. "What is it? AND SPEAK SLOOOOOWLY!"
Jaime took a deep breath. "JOEY IS PACKING HIS BAGS AND HE'S ABOUT TO LEAVE TO GO TO SOME DUDE CALLED BRENDAN'S STAG PARTY AND IF YOU DON'T GET TO THE STUDIO QUICKly YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO STOP HIM AND HE'LL BE GONE FOREVER AND-"
"Wait here," Lauren demanded. "I'm getting my jacket."

"I still can't believe you're going," Brian said. "You're literally one of the main characters."
"Relax," Joey said putting his suitcase on the ground. "I'll only be gone for a week or two."
Dylan sniffed. "Weeel steel meees yoouu Joweee!!" Dylan said in a baby voice.
"Shuddup Dumblesnore," Joe said hitting Dylan jokingly on the arm. Joey looked at his watch. "Well I've got ten minutes to kill so what do you guys wanna do?" he asked.
"What about 'Goodbye Joey Karaoke'?" Dylan suggested.
"Yeah, I don't see why not."
After Meredith, Brian, Joey, Joe and Darren had all sang their songs it was Dylan's turn. He had chosen the song 'Rude' and was coming up to the chorus.
"WHY YOU GOTTA STEAL MY FOOOOOD? DON'T YOU KNOW I'M HUMAN TOOOO? WHY YOU GOTTA STEAL MY FOOOOOD? I'LL BUY A BURGER ANYWAY!"
"Dylan i don't think those are the lyrics..." Joe said.
"Sshhh!" Meredith hissed. "Don't ruin his dream."
Joey chuckled. "Well thanks for the great send off, guys," he said. "But I should probably get going now. My taxi will be here in a minute."
"WAIT!" Meredith said. "You can't go without saying goodbye to Jaime...and Lauren."
Joey gave a sad smile. "Bye guys." He picked up his suitcase and made his walked outside.
"Joey, wait!"
Joey span around as he heard that familiar voice. Lauren stood at the steps looking pleadingly at Joey. "Joey...you can't go."
"I have to go," he replied. "Lauren, I care about you. And I've hurt you and I don't ever want to risk that happening again. Lauren, please just let me leave...and move on." Joey turned around slowly. He sighed and began walking towards the taxi again.
"No!" Lauren shouted. "Because I can't let you do that Joey. I just can't Joey. I can't." Tears were rolling down Lauren's cheeks at this point. Joey turned around again. "Lauren, I have to do this," Joey said getting choked up but trying not let Lauren know. "And I'm sorry that this isn't going to be the end of a cheesy movie where the guy or girl doesn't get into the taxi and they get back together, Lauren. But I really can't do this. Goodbye." Joey turned around and closed his eyes in regret. He opened them again and continued to walk towards the taxi. Lauren was panicking, she couldn't think of anything else to do to make him stay. Tears were still pouring down her face. She was about to run after Joey when she stopped in her tracks. She turned around and looked at the fountain.

"Where'd you wanna go?"
"New York Airport," Joey said to the taxi driver. He felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. It was Lauren.

Message: Open the window, Joey.
Joey looked out of the window as the taxi's engine began to start; he couldn't see anything. Following Lauren's instructions, he rolled the window down. At first he wasn't aware of anything but then he began to recognise the beautiful singing voice he'd learned to love.
"Here I am, face to face, with a situation I never thought I'd ever see."
Joey anxiously looked out of the window for the person the voice belonged to.
"How a taxi fare, could make me care, and make him nothing less than beautiful to me."
As the taxi drove around a corner Joey noticed Lauren stood on the wall around the fountain with a quickly increasing crowd surrounding her.
"It seems like my eyes have been transfigured."
"I love her..." Joey muttered to himself. "I love her!" Joey screamed at the taxi driver to stop. Before the vehicle could come to a halt Joey had already jumped out of it beginning to run towards Lauren.
"Something deep inside has changed. "
Joey was halfway through the crowd when he began joining in with Lauren's song. "They've opened wide, now hold that trigger."
Lauren gasped. She recognised that voice immediately. She stood on her tiptoes and scanned the crowd. She felt a hand grab her wrist and it pulled her off of the fountain. She looked up at the tall figure as he spoke the next line. "This could mean...danger..."
Lauren looked at him fondly. He held both of her hands against his chest lovingly starting to sing again. "I'm falling in love, falling in love, falling in love..."
Lauren smiled with a tear stained face and sang, "with Joey Richter..."
