Missing Memories (Tzuyu X TWICE)

Chapter 9

The waiter came back with the plates of jokbal. Momo stared at the plate with her mouth wide open and drool about to spill out. Tzuyu shook her head and forced Momo's mouth shut, but it reopened again. Momo dove straight into the plate before Tzuyu could shut Momo's mouth again, cause the younger girl to shake her head in disapproval.

Tzuyu stared at the plate in front of her. It seemed like too much for Tzuyu after how much kimbap she was fed by Momo. She was about to decline eating the plate but saw the look of content on Momo's face. With as much willpower as she could muster, and so that Momo would not be disappointed, Tzuyu forced herself to eat the plate of jokbal in front of her.

"I can't feel my body," Tzuyu exaggerated as she collapsed in her chair.

"What do you mean? I'm only half full," Momo stated while contemplating if she should order more food.

Tzuyu sat up at the surprising statement, "What? How can you still be hungry after all of that food?"

"I don't know," Momo shrugged.

Tzuyu shook her head disapprovingly. Her eyes then drifted down to the older girl's exposed midriff. Momo's toned abs were exposed and caused the younger girl to gulp. Tzuyu could not deny that Momo's abs made her feel a little hot inside.

"Ahem," Momo coughed, snapping Tzuyu out of her not so innocent staring, "Am I that pretty?"

Tzuyu scoffed, "Who are you? Nayeon-unnie?"

"What did you just say? I will have you know that I am nothing like Nayeon-unnie," Momo feigned offence at Tzuyu's words, "I will have you know tha---"

Momo's eyes went wide in surprise when she realized something, "What did you just say?"

Tzuyu looked at Momo confused, "What? I said that you sound like Nayeon-unnie. You know how she is. She's always going on and on about how pretty she is whenever she gets the chance."

Momo's eyes went even wider at what Tzuyu said, causing Tzuyu to become even more confused, "What's wrong?"

"Tzuyu, what did you just say?" Momo asked.

"What do you mean..." Tzuyu started before realizing what had just happened, "Unnie! I just remembered something else!"

The two jumped up in enjoy and began to hug each other. They were causing a disturbance in the restaurant, but they could care less about their surroundings. Their excitement was at an all new high after realizing that Tzuyu was recovering her memories.

Their happiness lasted until Tzuyu suddenly realized that Momo's body was rubbing against hers. Tzuyu's earlier thoughts came rushing back, and she started blushing madly. She suddenly pushed Momo away from her.

"Are you okay?" Momo asked with a look of concern on her face.

"Y-y-yeah. I'm f-f-fine," Tzuyu started to stutter but quickly recovered, "I just realized that we were causing a disturbance," she lied.

"I guess you're right," Momo giggled, "Let's get going. Want to head to the mall?"

"Sure," Tzuyu replied.

Momo paid for their meal yet again. Tzuyu offered to pay, but Momo said that the date was her treat. There was nothing that Tzuyu could do, so she went along with Momo's wishes.

The two walked out of the restaurant and started to head to the mall. This time around, Momo did not drag Tzuyu along; they walked side by side as they strolled down the street. Tzuyu was somewhat disappointed at this, but she was thankful at the same time as she would have not been able to control her thoughts if Momo was holding her hand again.

The walk to the mall was short. They walked around the mall. Although they did not bring masks, no one seemed to want to bother them. Tzuyu felt both relief and disappointment, and Momo only cared about finding food.

Momo dragged Tzuyu through a few stores. They only browsed the stores and did not purchase anything. Momo periodically bought snacks for her to eat as they passed by food stalls. Tzuyu was still amazed at how Momo could eat so much food but still be fit.

After another half an hour, Momo suddenly pulled Tzuyu into a gift store. She ran off to look for something while leaving Tzuyu behind. Tzuyu shrugged off the weird excitement that Momo was showed and started to slowly browse through the store. She admired the various items that were placed neatly on the store shelves.

Tzuyu eventually reached the back of the store where she found Momo crouched in front of a display of charms. She walked over and crouched beside the older girl. Momo was too engrossed in looking at the charms that she did not notice Tzuyu crouching beside her.

"What are you looking for?" Tzuyu asked.

Momo jumped in surprise, "Jeez you scared me Tzuyu," she received a giggle from the younger girl, "And I'm trying to find a charm."

"What kind?" Tzuyu asked as she started to look through the charms.

"That's a secret," Momo said as she pretended to zip her lips.

"Okay, then who are you buying it for?" Tzuyu asked.

Momo pretended to unzip her lips, "That's also a secret," she then zipped her lips again.

A/N: Hello everyone! I just realized that I had Jihyo calling Jeongyeon 'unnie' in the last chapter, but I don't actually remember her calling Jeongyeon like that ever...
