The bigger of the two dogs was latched onto Simon's jacket and didn't look to be letting go anytime soon, while our glorious third in command was pitifully trying and failing to get away. "Tyson get off him!" The girl shouted and the mutt released Simon's jacket, only to growl at him when he fell on his a** in the dirt. "Tyson, Ollie to me!" Her tone was a command as both dogs stopped their snarls and trotted back to her, each taking a position beside her while she praised them softly. "So Streaks, you going to introduce me to your friends, or should I let my four legged companions have another go at them?" It took a moment for me to realize her question was directed at Gavin and another to realize, I wanted her to give me a nickname too.
Sidney
They just couldn't take the hint. Not only had they come back to my property at full strength, but they blatantly knocked on my door while I was home sleeping, not a good idea. I had a hand on Tyson and Ollie's heads as I calmed them enough to sit beside me as they eyed the threat before us, all twelve had showed up without permission and I was not enjoying the company. "Well I'm Micah Duncan, and what's your name gorgeous?" The red haired brown eyed fool who'd banged on my door actually had the audacity to try flirting with me, he really did have a death wish.
"Sidney Blake but I figure you already knew that, so you can consider me not interested." I stated firmly as I watched in satisfaction as his flirtatious grin slipped to a look of surprised confusion. "Excuse me?" Micah puffed out with another flirtatious grin. "I don't tolerate players like you Match Stick, so take your Red Riding Hood game elsewhere, thanks." I scoffed as I rolled my eyes and turned my attention to the boy still cowering in the dirt. His long black hair had started to fall in front of his terrified green eyes that were focused on my still snarling pets, and I couldn't help but take pity on the poor guy.
I gave a silent command for Tyson and Ollie to stay put and quiet down as I stepped through the group of males and offered my hand to the guy on the ground, he stared up at me wearily in return. "Listen I'm sorry my boys went after you but in their defense they just want to protect me, and you are trespassing on my property." I huff as he slowly put a hand in mine and I helped steady him back on his feet as he watched the dogs over my shoulder. "They sure are a couple of h*** hounds." the grumpy dog hater growled out, I couldn't help chuckling.
The guy was easily 6'4 and from what I could guess in his mid to latter 20s, not to mention the fact I could sense the power of his wolf, and he was scared of my two pups. "Ollie's all bark no bite unless someone poses a threat to me, it's Tyson you've got to worry about. I saved him from an abusive owner, he will tear you apart to protect me." I stated clearly as the poor fool gulped nervously. "So Streaks I'm still waiting on that introduction." I sent a look towards Gavin as he stuttered out nonsense. "Oh, sorry. I'm Simon Willis." Scaredy wolf shook himself to focus on me for a moment before warily shooting his eyes back to my pups.
"Nice to meet you, but still no one has given me a reason for your visit." I raised as I crossed my arms and scanned the group. "So sorry for waking you Miss Blake..." The alpha male stepped forward and I watched him tense as I met his gaze and cut him off. "Call me Sidney or Sid, I'm not really one for formalities." I stated as he cleared his throat with a nod. "Yes well, my name is Bowen Shaw, we're sorry to have disturbed you, but there was just a matter that we needed to discuss with you about your land." He continued slowly. I raised my brows back at him, if he was going to get all alpha male on me right now we would have a BIG problem.
