Chapter 21 - Making The Connections

So I'm humoring my brother by staying close, where he can keep an eye on me for now, then WE will head to my house in a week or two as my wildcat didn't even need time to mold it over as she immediately said yes and then we celebrated in a very hot and messy way, well we celebrated a few times and it was mind blowing as always. How is it even possible to be better everytime we go at it? How is it possible to love her more and more with every second of everyday? I don't know but it's an amazing feeling.

We are currently getting ready to leave as Aurora said she needed to go by her old apartment which she use to share with Zee, to get the last of her things and to inform Zee of her moving in with me, and of course I insisted on accompanying her as I'm not ready to let her out of my sight just yet. I was just about to check how far she is as she's busy with her hair in the bathroom when my phone beeped, indicating an incoming text.

Steph: Meeting in the office in 10 minutes, Elijah wants to speak to us.

Steph send and I almost regretted leaving my damn phone on, I mean seriously? It's fucking Friday and I only just got back from the damn hospital, YESTERDAY!

Me: What's this about? Can't it wait? I have plans!

I responded because I was thinking after we got her stuff we could head to guest house, have a movie day or something and just spend real quality time together, now he wants to cock block me!

Steph: Do I look like someone that would give a fuck about your damn plans?! Get to the fucking office in 5 minutes, AND THAT'S A FUCKING ORDER!

Well there goes my plans! And the fucker went from 10 minutes to 5, in seconds! This better be fucking good or I'm shooting both him and Elijah for fucking up my plans for the day. Knowing Steph, this is that update meeting he was planning on having on Monday but never did as the guys were all out on jobs, not to mention the fact that Steph spend Monday and Tuesday with Rodrigo, the Latin Kings leader and then after he killed him, he went to see Pablo in prison and did just what he said he would, had each and every Latin King member that's in prison, burned! Well after showing Pablo the pictures of his son's beheaded body, yeah Steph is ruthless like that.

"Aurora, I just got a text from Steph, there is an emergency meeting in his home office, so I gotta go but as soon as it's done, I'll take you to the apartment alright?" I said as soon as I walked into the bathroom, where she was still busy with her long beautiful hair.

"It's fine, but is everything okay?" She asks walking closer to me as I was leaning against the wall.

"I'm sure it is, so don't worry. I won't be long I promise" I said and she nodded her head and pecked me on the lips and was about to pull back, when I grabbed her by her waist and pulled her closer again and kissed her properly, groaning at the feeling I get everytime we kiss.

"You better go before Steph comes in here and growls like a deranged animal" she says giggling and then her eyes widen. "I'm sorry, please don't tell him I said that" she says I only chuckled, she's so afraid of him when we all know when it comes to family, his all bark and no bite, well most of the time.

"I'll see you in an hour or two, tops" I said and pecked her lips softly when she nodded. "I love you baby" I said and pecked her one last time.

"Love you more" she says with a wink, as I make my way out the door I winked at her too.

I made my way towards Steph's home office and I couldn't shake the feeling that came over me with each step I took. I feel like something bad is about to go down, not sure if it's today or tomorrow even but I can't seem to shake the feeling. I guess Kiara has been around me too much because she's starting to rub off on me with her damn feelings! As soon as I walk into the office, I notice Steph and Gio standing by the window, each with a glass in hand.
