The three turtles nodded and they exited the room. When their footsteps were no longer heard, Karai then spoke. "Okay, Mikey, now that they're gone, talk to me."
As I said this, Karai took out a kunai and cut the ropes that bound me to this chair.
I smiled. "Thanks Karai."
I rubbed my wrists. After that, I gave Karai a hug. "Thanks for having my back sis."
Karai patted my back, "Of course. Now get off me softie."
I obliged. "So, what did you tell the guys?"
"Well, I told them I would search your soul for answers. And trust me, I can still do that, but I'd rather you tell me anyway," said Karai.
Sirds just looked flabbergasted. "Well, what do you want to know?" I asked.
"Alright, tell me why you almost beat Casey to death? There's no way you'd do that without good reason," said Karai.
"It's part of a plan that has been devised. Believe me, I didn't want to hurt Casey. I wouldn't hurt anyone unless I had no choice," I said.
"You don't think I believe you? Why else did you think I want to help you instead of do what you're brothers want me to?" asked Karai.
"Yeah, good point," I said.
Sirds then exclaimed, "Wait, what? Why isn't she trying to kill me?"
"Oh, well, it's because that's not why she's here," I responded.
"Who are you talking to Mike?" asked Karai.
I hesitated for a second. "Um, well, I can't really tell you. All I can say is that what I'm talking to is on our side."
Then, Sirds butted in, "What is going on?!"
"Sirds, Karai is not here to hurt us. She's here to save us," I said.
"When did you contact her?" asked Sirds.
"I texted her when we were upside down on the pipes in Donnie's lab. You know, just incase," I responded.
Sirds smiled. "Smart."
"Okay, let me introduce you to each other. Sirds, meet Karai. Karai, meet Sirds."
"Um, nice to meet you. Even though I can't see you," said Karai.
Karai looked a little worried at me. "Hello," Sirds said.
"Woah! Where did that come from?" asked Karai.
I frowned my eyes. That was actually the first time someone other than me has actually heard Sirds speak. Looks like Sirds really is a more advanced being. "That's Sirds. I'm not really allowed to tell you more than that. Unless Sirds lets me of course," I said while glancing at Sirds.
"Well, can he Mr. Sirds?" asked Karai.
"No, no, she isn't part of the plan. I can't add her to the plan now," said Sirds.
"Why not?" I asked. (hehe, get it?)
"Because, it could mess up the entire plan. Or I'll have to recreated a new one," said Sirds.
"But she would be a very useful teammate. She has the resources and the skills," I argued.
"It's true, I do," said Karai while scratching her nails.
Sirds rolled his eyes. "I just don't think we need her."
"You're right, we don't need her. But that doesn't mean we shouldn't put her on our side," I said.
