"Use your powers" Kirk ordered. "Never" I said while fighting with my katanas. I will and I won't ever use them again. They make me look like a monster. "Use them" he said more stern.

"You can't force me to do anything I don't want to do" I said. I was sweating now. But, I will not stop. I dodged another attack and continued to fight as more vampires came at me. Xepher and Allison both jumped in so they could help. Using their powers of course. Far away. In the kingdom.

"USE THEM" he demanded. He yelled. "NO" I yelled. I continued fighting with my swords. "Fight them. Show them what you got" he said.

"I am fighting them. I am showing them what I got" I said. I felt my stomach get hit. I was stabbed I kicked that person and put my left hand over the wound.

I either bleed out or I use my ice power to stop it for a bit. Since I have black magic running through my veins I have a heart beat which only means I have blood.

"Come on now. Use them" he said impatiently. I ignored him and used my right hand to fight. I can't use them no more. I won't do it.

I had tears streaming down my face now. Knowing I probably won't make it out of this war to see Colby after. My mate. My mate will be alone. I can't let that happen.

I dodged another attack as I gently pressed my hand on my stomach further and used my ice power. Wincing slightly from the cold pain.

After that I wiped my bloody hand on my shirt. "ALL GO AFTER THE LITTLE GIRL" one of the rivals yelled.

I saw Allison and Xepher snicker while I glared. I continued to fight like my warriors were. I won't give up.

I saw that Allison slowed down time for the rivals so I took off and killed like that. Until it was over. This was a very bloody war.

I looked around at all the dead bodies in what I call my battlefield. I was taken from my thoughts as I heard my name and my family running out of the castle down the pathway.

"HARLEY GOLBACH. I DIDN'T COME HERE TO WATCH YOU FIGHT WITH METAL. I CAME TO WATCH YOU BATTLE" he boomed. A growl ripped out through the air because of me.

I spun around. "I will never be the monster you created me as. Never. I am a vampire and I'll always be a vampire. Not one of your little lab rats, your monster weapon that you claim I am" I hissed.

We were walking in a circle basically. Staring at each other. My family was watching. "I didn't want you to be a monster. I never did. I want you to use your powers for good" Kirk said fatherly like.

"No. There is no way to use powers from the academy for good. The powers from the academy are made from black magic. Kirk...... Golbach" I said.

His eyes widened for a split second, my moms face was guilty, my family gasped. "Did you really expect you could leave Allison's, Sam's, mine, and Bens lives. Seriously. Just come back and use my mother as a toy then leave back to your dark arts factory" I all but yelled.

People seemed shocked. "I didn't use your mother as a toy. She is my mate" he growled. "Is that all you got from that. Using my mother. Why didn't you stay? Why was Samuel our 'father'? Why couldn't you just leave the damn dark arts behind" I said. I was getting emotional.

Colby knew that and him being the kind mate he is wrapped his arms around my waist. He put his hand over my wound and I could feel it healing from his touch.

He must of done some research. He had his chin resting on my head. "Look, I didn't want Samuel to be your father Harley. I was going to be in your lives. From the start. From when Allison was born. But, I couldn't. Samuel was the overpowered vampire that confronted your mother. And he won. By threatening Allison's safety." Kirk started.
