Artemis glared at his butler then clearly stressed his words,’’I came here to integrate with my people not to receive special treatment like in the Imperial Academy.’’

Knowing that he did something wrong, the butler quickly knelt down to beg for forgiveness,’’Your Highness, I know my wrong! Please, forgive me!’’

Artemis was about to set him straight but still remember the other person who was still beside him, he quickly spoke,’’Get up and prepare my lunch in my room.’’

The butler was delighted to hear this, he thanked him then hurriedly went away.

Done dealing with him, Artemis turned to the boy only to see him lower his head seemed to be waiting for his judgment.

He gave a sigh then said,’’No need to feel guilty, I don’t mind your previous attitude.’’

The boy with golden hair slightly raised his head to give a peek at him,’’Really? You don’t feel offended with a commoner like me?’’

Artemis assuredly said,’’No.’’But feeling like it was not enough, he added,’’I rather prefer you act that way.’’

After hearing this, the golden hair boy seemed to resume back his energy as he excitedly said,’’I heard that us, commoners will be discriminated by nobles, especially in the capital so I kind of worry about this matter when my family decided to come with me. How nice would it be if everyone were to be like you?!’’

It seemed to be his careless remark but Artemis mentally noted down this matter.

He also thought that it was time to change things a little bit once he took over the throne.

While he was contemplating, they already arrived at an intersection to which he suddenly heard the boy said,‘’Okay, I will see you at the dorm.’’

‘’Where are you going?’’Hurriedly asked Artemis.

Shi Shen confusingly replied,’’Cafeteria.’’

‘’Come and eat with me.’’

However, he abruptly stopped once he saw the male lead unblinkingly stared at him. He quickly changed his words,’’If you don’t mind me mooching off your lunch haha.’’

Hearing this, Artemis’s mood slightly became better and his eyes carelessly brushed off his hands, finally realize something.

‘’Where is your spatial ring?’’

‘’I gave it to my dad.’’

Artemis just replied an oh acting like he was not interested but when they finished their lunch, he suddenly gave Shi Shen a ring.

This ring’s craftsmanship was even more topnotch then the one from the Academy and it's most likely that even the size was bigger.

Shi Shen was about to say no when the other person said,’’I have a lot of them so take it.’’

Hearing this, Shi Shen internally raised his brows.

The spatial ring was not a common object. Even nobles had a hard time obtaining one so his words were simply ridiculous.

In any case, he was a country bumpkin so he shouldn’t know this kind of things very well, therefore, he foolishly accepted it.

Seeing his shameless act, He Tian had a thought that Shi Shen actually wanted to smooch off the male lead’s wealth by getting close to him.

What’s more having the Crown Prince by his side, who would dare to berate him as a commoner in the future?

It had to be mentioned that He Tian's conjecture was not wrong but not correct either.

Tomorrow morning, their formal class finally started. In the first years, they mostly went on about the basic to build a solid foundation so most of the classes were about theories rather than practical skills.

Besides those main subjects that were fixed in the schedule, students could sign up for other classes so Shi Shen signed up for history and medical classes which were a bit strange for a student from the Swordsman department to choose.

Artemis had his subjects picked out beforehand so he couldn’t change to study in the same class as Shi Shen which left him gloomy once he found out.

Even if this was to be the case, others would always see the two together, rarely did they see the two got separated.

At first, everyone tried to outcast Shi Shen whenever he was not with the Crown Prince since they thought that he would only be good at practical skills, not theories. So even the teachers would always pick him to answer the questions but to their disappointment, he would always give the correct answers.

Those who lost to him in the entrance exam would also come to challenge him to a duel but got beaten battered by Shi Shen every time. Coupled with his perfect final perform ance at the end of the year, everyone finally acknowledged his strength.

Or to be exact Shi Shen had the Crown Prince as his backer so everyone gradually changed their opinions and tried to get on his good side instead in order to get close with the latter.

While these things happened, Artemis did want to get involved multiple times but was stopped every time by Shi Shen so he could only begrudgingly stay still.

It has been only 1 year but instead of figuring out his abnormality, he became even more confused.

He couldn’t stay still if the latter suffered even a little bit grievance. He hated it when he couldn’t see him for even a short while and he hated it even more when he saw him treat others gently.

Was it because he has never had a friend before? That must be it!

‘’Arte, who are your teammates for tomorrow's expedition?’’

Since it was a bit weird calling out a Goddess's name, Shi Shen decided to give him a nickname.

At first, he thought that it was weird for the male lead to have this name but upon meeting him, he felt that it really suit him.

Presently, they were second-year students so they finally got to go out for the school expedition.

The purpose of the expedition was to let students gained real experiences in the wild. Everyone would go there as a team of 4 and stayed in the forest for 2 days and 1 night to accomplish their respective mission.

Today before the class ended, the teacher made them draw lots to form the team. Didn’t know whether it was his bad luck or what but Shi Shen’s team consisted of those from the count families.

He reckoned that it would be lively once he was left alone with his team.

Shi Shen lightly glanced at the male lead who had this gloomy aura around him ever since the moment he found out that they were not in the same team.

Artemis grumpily replied,’’Don’t know them.’’

Hearing this, Shi Shen helplessly shook his head,’’Beside me, you don’t actually make friends with others, right?’’

Only you, is enough for me. Artemis thought this in his head but he instead replied,’’They are mostly fake.’’

‘’I say...The time in the Academy is perfect for you to gain allies for your future prospect so shouldn’t you be doing this?’’

Artemis bluntly said,‘’I already have you, don’t I?’’

Shi Shen suddenly went silent but he soon laughed,’’You think too highly of me. Okay, let’s go to sleep.’’

Artemis didn’t know why but he suddenly felt uneasy in his heart.

However, he couldn’t put a finger on where it was strange so he could only let it go and went to sleep.

Their beds were on the same side with only one meter away from each other so after Shi Shen laid sideways on the bed with his back to the male lead, he finally resumed his indifferent expression.

This time, He Tian took advantage of the loophole of fixing the world task so he needed not to stay until the end of the story to complete it.

Unlike Lin Yue and Gu Rong, Seth Stewart is one of the love interests making him an important character.

And his role was to secure his ending so everything happened afterward had nothing to do with him.
