"No. Sorry kid. I can't believe it didn't cross my mind, but I'll make sure I ask about it next time we see each other," you replied. Aami huffed. Her small sparkling frame seemed to have deflated a little as she walked away for energon.
"Hey, hon?" You looked back at her.
"Yeah?" She paused again, this time at the doorway, which had automatically opened.
"Would it bother you if I mentioned you were a li'l kid to anyone? I don't think the bots would mind, their human friends are kids."
"They are? Um, I don't know. Fine, I guess. Why would you bring it up though?"
You shrugged. "Not sure, but I felt like it was something we should clear up before I give anymore info on us. I've just been referring to you as my charge, my plus one."
"Okay. You can mention whatever about me. I trust you." The small femme continued walking. The door closed diagonally behind her. You already knew she'd grab some energon for you too, so you didn't bother asking.

You sipped your energon as you dig around on the computer. Your sharp digits tapped on the glowing cybertronian keyboard. The ship alerted you with a proximity alarm when something came an acre away from the ship.
You were curious about many a things about cybertronians and their lost relics. Aami excitedly relayed the cataloged information she'd read through for days on end about many of them. You wondered if the ship's scanners could pick any up. Cybertronians were here, so what if their relics were too?
Then, after some messing around and changes and modifications you made, a beep sounded. A magnetic disturbance was happening somewhere in the world. You were excited to check it out.
Aami was reluctant to let you go, especially because of the two Autobot and two Decepticon signals near the disturbance. You assured her that you'd come back alive and well and that she could get plenty of reading and research done in your absence. That seemed to do it for her, though you could still tell she was immensely worried for you.
Coordinates for a nearby area were inserted in the computer. The glowing ground bridge appeared.
You kneeled down and held the sides of her helm. You lovingly kissed her forehelm and bopped where her nose would be if she still had one.
"I'll tell you if there's anymore unwanted company," Aami told you.
"Alright," you answered, standing up, "I'll check in with you in a little while. That way, you'll know I'm okay sooner than later." The little sparkling seemed to brighten up at that. You gave her a side hug and walked into the portal.
As soon as you hopped out, the sound of metal on metal was heard. Two bots were fighting, you were sure of it. After a few seconds of jogging and nervously shaking wings, you found a mesa wall edge to hide behind. You were in a desert setting.
A big blue mech with an orange face and one optic was one of the fighters. He was kinda cute, and ferociously battling a femme, who you decided was marginally hotter. She was quite the opponent for someone much smaller and thinner than the mech. The spider legs on her back certainly made the match for the mech's brute strength and small missile launchers.
