Chapter 4: Texting and Dinner

(y/n) pov.

"Ready to go Ant?", I asked. He nodded and put the Jorgange back on his back. At first I showed the pool and the way down to the beach and then where the breakfast, lunch and dinner would be. Then we walked to the shop, when Ant asked, "Which shop are we taking?" "The second one, it's owned by a nice couple, I also known them for 5 years.", I answered.
We entered the shop and I was immediately welcomed with a hug from the wife from the shopkeeper. "Hello Sweety! How are you?", she asked. "I'm great, thanks.", I looked around for the shopkeeper but didn't see him. "Where's your husband?", I asked. "He just went to the city like 5 minutes before you arrived to run some errands.", she looked behind me and saw Ant, "And who might you be?" "My name is Ant Nekton, I just arrived here today and (y/n) and me stay in the same hotel.", Ant answered. "How nice!" Then we went to buy the things we needed.
It was very cheap, even if we bought many things and when we left she even gave us both a free ice cream. As we were walking back to the hotel, I noticed that Ant was struggling to carry everthing he bought, so I asked him if he needed any help. At first he declined my offer, but whrn one of his bags almost slipped out of his hands, he finally agreed.
We made our way back to the hotel and when we passed my room, I quickly pit my things in it and told my grandma I would come back in a second. I helped Ant carry the things to his room, but because he forgot his keycard we rang the doorbell and a woman, which I guess is Ant's mother, opened the door.

Kaiko's pov. (Didn't expect that, now did you 😉)

The doorbell rang and I was the first one to react and said, "I'll get it!" I expected it to be Ant, because I saw that he forgot his keycard on the couchtable. But when I opend the door, I didn't just see Ant, but also a girl that seemed about to be same age as Ant. That must be the girl that Ant asked about the Scuba Diving earlier. "Oh hello, my name is Kaiko, I'm Ant's mother. What's you name?", I greeted her and asked. "My name is (y/n),nice to meet you." We talked a bit and I thought she was very charming and nice. She was even interested when I told her a bit about sea biologic, what I can't say about everyone. But after some time she had to go back to her room to her grandmother, who I found out was staying here with her. She asked if we wanted to have dinner tonight, so she suggested that we meet at 8 o'clock in the dining hall. I agreed and then we said our goodbyes. "Goodbye Kaiko, goodbye Ant see you at 8.", she said and walked away. "Goodbye (y/n) see you later." After she was far enough away I whispered in Ant's ear, "She's a keeper.", and walked inside, but not before I saw Ant's face grow red from embarrassment and hearing him whine,"Mmmoooommm." I giggled to myself and thought Teasing is actually pretty fun.

Timeskip to 8 o'clock

(y/n) pov.

We got there a little earlier to greet some of the waiters again that were very friendly towards us, especially a waitress named Anastasia. We became friends right on from the start and we even gave us presents when I had to leave to go back to Vienna. When I was just about to greet her and asked her for a table for six people, I knew the Nektons family consisted of four people because Kaiko told me before, I saw Ant and Kaiko and what I suppose were Ant's dad and sister. I walked over to them after I asked Anastasia for a table.

Ant's pov.

We were looking for (y/n) when we heard, "Hi, I already asked for a table. It will be ready in just a sec and I hope you don't mind that we're sitting outside." I was the first one to turn and saw her . She wore a beautiful blue dress, some pretty black high heels, a pearl bracelet and a shell necklace. She looks so beautiful. I tried to remember they way she looked. Wait, what am I doing?! I like Jess! Or do I? I didn't notice that my mouth was hanging open until Fontaine whispered in my ear: "You better close your mouth or you gonna catch flies." I shut my mouth quickly and blush a bit. She probably heard Fontaine, because she giggled a bit. Cute. "You look lovely (y/n).", my mom said. "Thank you and you also look gorgeous Kaiko.", she said and then added, "We should go to the table, my grandma is probably already waiting outside." She went to the balcony and we followed her. From the balcony you could see the sea with the sunset perfectly. So beautiful. I looked to (y/n) and the beautiful orange from the sunset made her eyes sparkle, so her (e/c) orbs looked like the sun. I caught myself staring and quickly looked away. What's wrong with me? Then I heard (y/n) say, "I wanted to ask if Ant and ....",  she looked to my sister who answered,"Fontaine". Then (y/n) comtinued, "If Ant and Fontaine maybe want to come with me for a second, where you can see the sunset perfectly.", she added, "But only if you guys want to, of course. And it's only down by the beach." "Can we?", I asked with a big smile. "Okay, but be quick.", mom said. "When Ant and (y/n) go, I will too.", Fontaine butted in. "Okay, just follow me.", (y/n) said and walked down the stairs next to the restaurant, which led to the beach. We walked down the wood-path, which was there so the hotel-guests didn't have to walk on the hot sand at midday. We walked over the outlines made of big rocks, which cut off the swimming area of our hotel to the ones next to it. It was a bit slippery and sometimes hard to balance and after I almost fell in the gap inbetween the rocks, (y/n) turned around, because she was in the front to show us the safest way to jump over the rocks, and said: "Maybe we should all hold hands, so when one off us slipps, there is at least one person to catch the other." Fontaine and I nodded in response and hold hands. (y/n) stretched her hand out to me with a smile and I gave her my hand. When our fingers interwined I blushed a bit....okay a lot, but she turned around and didn't say anything, so I hope she just didn't notice it. We continued to walk, but I couldn't stop to sometimes glance at our interwined hands. I mean with (y/n) I at least have a chance, Jess only looked at me like the little brother of her best friend. I also noticed that my feelings for Jess lessend and my feelings for (y/n) increased. The feelings that I have for (y/n) are different ones, then the ones I had for Jess. Jess was more like a crush, but for (y/n) I feel something different. Maybe I'm no it can't be........am I in LOVE with....(y/n)?!
