Chapter 8: Trust Me

"I really did mess up this time didn't I, Bakugou?" She laughs lightly, her voice almost coming out like a whisper on a windy day.

The girl then is unable to keep her eyes open and passes out.

Bakugou, unable to say anything, slowly walks towards Todoroki while shaking slightly.

"Carry her for me; I can't do it. I'm going to kill these fuckers..." Bakugou growls lowly, his hair covering his eyes slightly as he passes the girls unconscious body to the half-and-half boy.

Gently taking her into his arms, he looks at her broken body and a sudden wave of sadness hits him in his heart as he thinks, 'She looks so fragile right now. Even though she's so strong...'

As Bakugou tries to step forward to beat the Villains for hurting (Y/n), All Might orders him to stay back and to leave it all to him. Scratching his face rapidly, the leader of the group continues to stare at the girl in fascination due to her quirks. He then begins to go on about the differences between Heroes and Villains. After giving his Monologue, the leader orders the Nomu to to attack All Might.

"You would attack an already injured girl covered in blood. You are the worst types of Villains out there!" All Might declares out while running towards the Nomu to exchange blows.

As Nomu and All Might punch one another with their full strength, wind begins to blast around them. Todoroki makes a wall of ice behind him so that he can lean against it while holding the girl safely in his arms. He holds her closer to him as the wind and force from the fight continues to push them further and further away. As All Might punches the Nomu with one final blow, he forces the monster completely out of U.S.J.

As the reinforcements arrive before they can hurt All Might, Todoroki begins to carefully run towards the entrance to quickly bring the girl for first aid. Using his ice to travel towards the entrance after Present Mic and Ectoplasm clean up the Villains at the front.

"Where's the infirmary?" Todoroki shouts while climbing up the stairs using his quirk, "(Y/n) is hurt!"

"(Y/n)?" Uraraka looks at the girl in Todoroki's arm, eyes widening at the sight of her state, "How did this happen...?"

Those who work at the Accident and Emergency department of the hospital, the paramedics, nearby come out and immediately take the girl out of Todoroki's hands while shouting to one another, "Her breathing is low, take her BPM. We need to rush her to the hospital to treat her injuries immediately. Request a blood transfusion as well; she's lost too much blood."

As the ambulance drives off with (Y/n), Aizawa and Midoriya, the rest of the students worry for the students and teachers.

As the detective begins to count the different students, he counts the students "seventeen, eighteen, nineteen... that should be everyone except for your teacher, the boy with broken legs and the girl who needs treatment immediately. The students can return to the classroom temporarily."

Everyone looks at each other uneasy due to (Y/n)'s and Aizawa's condition.

Tsuyu hops towards towards the detective, "Detective, how is (Y/n)? And Aizawa-sensei?"

He then makes a call to the hospital and the voice says, "Aizawa has both arms and his face fractured, but luckily there is no brain damage. But his orbital bones are crushed, which may leave some after effects in his eye."

He pauses then talks again about the student, "For Tsukishima... she's still undergoing surgery. Her left arm and a few ribs were broken and she was stabbed in her side, missing vital organs thankfully. She will need to rest for a bit after her surgery."

The detective puts his phone away and smiles, while commenting with a melancholy tone, "I heard so far that she fought bravely with Aizawa and did her best to protect him and All Might. You all shouldn't worry; a tough girl like her will get through her surgery with no problem."

"(Y/n)..." Momo mumbles sadly with her hands together, as if praying that she will be okay, "She was fighting that many Villains..."

Ashido then also asks, "What about Number 13?"

"They're also being treated, the wound on his back and his upper arm are bad, but he will survive," The detective replies also adding, "All Might will also survive; Recovery Girl's treatment is enough to heal him in the infirmary."

Uraraka, unable to hold it, then asks, "Do you know when (Y/n) will finish her surgery?!"

The detective shakes his head, unsure of it himself.

Iida also asks, "What about Midoriya?!"

"Midoriya? Oh he will be in the infirmary," He says while holding his hat and smiling. Okay return to the classroom."

"Yes!"

Bakugou looks at U.S.J, remembering (Y/n) and her bloodied body. However, most importantly, he remembers how she was able to destroy the Nomu's arms with her quirk even though she was majorly injured and tired from fighting.

He remembers the sound of her voice screaming, 'Crush!' and how the arms of the bird compressed itself together and imploded on itself. He squeezes his hands together and turns back around to get onto the bus back to U.A.

Back at U.A...

The students arrive back into U.A with the sky painting an orange hue over all of them with the sunsetting, making them all finally feel fatigue wash over their body.

While in the infirmary, both All Might and Midoriya lay in bed due to their injuries and stamina depletion from Recovery Girl healing them. As Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa, being All Might's favorite cop, he starts to ask about the Villain attack.

However, All Might stops him to ask about Aizawa and the students conditions, "Hold... Hold on. Are the students okay? Especially that girl, Tsukishima (Y/n) and also Eraserhead and Number 13."

Detective Tsukauchi smiles kindly at All Might, "They will survive."

His smile turns into a frown for his following comment, "About Tsukishima, she will likely survive but she's currently in surgery. She had the most injuries out of everyone; not surprising though as she was reported to be in the most intense fight at the front with Aizawa and also saving him and also you, All Might."

Midoriya eyes begin to water as he mutters to himself, "(Y/n)... If only I wasn't so afraid and jumped in sooner to help her. If only I didn't just listen to her and carried her back..."

All Might reaches over and pats him on the head, "You did the best you could do. If you took (Y/n) away, then she wouldn't have been there to save me. You did well Midoriya; you trusted your gut and it went well."

Midoriya, wiping his tears away, grins and gives All Might a thumbs up as him and the detective continue to talk.

Elsewhere...

Tomura Shigaraki lays on the floor complaining to his master about the failure of the mission, while he responds with vague comments.

Kurogiri, the warp gate, says to the TV, "I can't retrieve Nomu even with my warp; we didn't have enough time."

The voice coming out of the TV angrily says, "After all I did to give it the same power as All Might! It can't be helped, too bad."

Shigaraki then remembers the girl from earlier today known as Tsukishima (Y/n), "Power... there was a girl whose quirk is perfect for our group that I saw today. She can control anything..."

"I want to keep an eye on her." He smirks and creepily laughs.
