Flaca says squealing the last part making both of them smile

"oh my god call her!"

Maritza squeals as excited as her

"you can go in the living room if you need privacy"

Marthese offers

Flaca says more to herself as she grabbed her phone and arranged Lucas who was once again drifting of to sleep on her lap she dials her grandma's number and impatiently waits for her to pick up, the woman picks up and you could hear the whole cause of how loud her grandma was talking

"hey abuela!"

"ayy mi amor how are you preciosa?"

"actually I'm in trouble"

"what? is it money? I'll give you money"

"well yes but it's not for me"

"what are you talking about?"

"you know Lucas' mother abuela? blonde? blue eyes, from my daddy's side?"

"she was out of town so she left Lucas with me and well she basically disowned him and told me to adopt him, and I don't want him to grow up with that kind of mother so I'm taking him, is that stupid?"

"no amor of course it's not is she gonna send money?"

"I told her not to cause I don't want her to be anywhere near him, that was pretty stupid"

"It was but I get why you did that, you're just trying to protect him"

"I tell you what, you start getting home-schooled, I'll give you money to continue school at home honey, so you can take care of him and still pursue your career, and with the money your father gives you take care of yourself, I'll take care of the rest honey till you get a job"

Flaca snorts at her grandma's comment

"you stay focused, keep your head held high and don't worry about money princesa, I have to go now I'm doing laundry"

"ok abuela thank you so much, I'll come over sometime this week with Lucas"

"oh please do I haven't seen him in so long, I'll make sure to make you your favorite plate"

"thank you abuela, I'll come over next Tuesday cause I only have one student for tutoring after school"
