「Chapter 7 - Need For Answers」

After noticing how gloomy and strange Millennial's archer had been acting for the past couple of weeks, he decided that he needed to force him out of the house. There was going to be a festival for the beginning of July celebration, and they couldn't miss it! And he wasn't going to let his son miss it, either. Bribing him with gems didn't work, so he kinda just forced him out the door instead.

Wind did was not too keen on the idea of going to the festival. Sure, talking with cookies was nice, but there were a few cookies he just didn't really want to talk to.

Okay, I lied. There's about one cookie he doesn't want to talk to.

However, to him, that's a valid reason not to go and he believes he doesn't need to. It makes sense. If you don't need it, don't do it.

Yeah. Because Wind can totally skip festivals if he lives with Millennial. Because Millennial totally doesn't want to go to them. Not at all.

"Millennial, seriously." Wind starts, "I don't want to go. There's someone there I don't want to see."

Millennial turned around at his guardian again, looking him straight in the eyes and smiling, "Then wouldn't you like to repair your relationship with this cookie by talking to them?"

Wind grumbled, "It doesn't need repairing..."

"Then what does it need, Wind?"

"Answers."

There was a bit of silence between them for a few seconds. Then, Millennial spoke up, "You need to speak to whoever this cookie is. You have questions. They're sure to answer them."

"I just don't want to ask the questions."

"But are they really questions?"

The archer thought for a moment, "No. No, they aren't."

"Then what are you waiting for?" Millennial asked sweetly, "A festival is a perfect thing for you right now. Especially when there's someone there right now that can answer your worries."

Wind Archer stood there for a moment, looking to the side. Then, he begins walking forward.

Millennial's face lights up, "That's the spirit!"

Drip. Drip. Drip.

"W-what if he doesn't like me back?" Fire cried out, trying to wipe the tears from his face, "I can't take rejection! It's too much to handle!"

Sea put her hand on Fire's, "You don't know unless you try." she suggests, smirking.

"Wow, thanks for the help." Fire hisses, sniffing.

"Yeah, well if you think this isn't normal, it is. I'm just gonna guess that love straight up the makes you bi-polar."

"Bi-what?" Fire asks.

"Bisexual." Sea lies.

Fire blinks, "No shit, Walnut."

Sea and Moon snort.

Moon smiles sweetly, "Do you know exactly what it's like to be in love, though?"

"Not particularly, no. I usually flirt and sometimes get flustered. I know what it's like to be 'in heat' but nothing more."

"So you've never fallen in love?" Sea asks.

"I probably have, just never knew. For this, I just know I love him."

"Well," Moon replies, "Sea and I got together because both of us had fallen in love with one another. I had become flustered around her almost all the time. I felt the same way as you did.

"In the end, I confessed. And we ended up together." she finished, kissing her girlfriend on the cheek.

"If you just confess," Sea continued, "You'll find your way. And I highly doubt he won't give you a chance after the snowy forest incident. It helped him learn more about you."

"Are you sure?" Fire asked, completely uncertain.

"Positive." Sea and Moon replied simultaneously.

"But is love supposed to feel this way? I feel warm all the time, warmer than I usually feel! I'm all daydreamy, not to mention the hair h-hearts...?" Fire's sentence strangely turned into a question. He trailed off completely.

"That's called love, numbskull." Sea replies. It didn't take long for her and Moon to realize Fire's mouth was agape, face completely red. He was staring at something behind them.

"Soo...what do you feel right now, Fire?" Moon asks sweetly.

"...I feel like a wreck." he wheezed.

Sea and Moon turn around to find Millennial Tree and his guardian walking on the streets behind them.
