Ch 3 Initiation and Semblances

Glynda: I'm not questioning your judgement but are you sure about this? They don't even yet have their semblances.

Ozpin: *Sips coffee* This year is quite strange at that, though I'm sure this team will be of interest.

Back at Beacon students look at these strange figures with both curiosity and skepticism. They were never mentioned of the new team arrival in Beacon.

Ruby: Finally, we will get to see how they are in combat. I want to see their weapons at work.

Yang: Ruby you'll see it plenty as the initiation goes.

Blake: Do you think the relics will be at the temple? We did destroy it after all.

Weiss: I'm sure they found a suitable replacement.

Location: Emerald Forest

Sarah and Y/N started free falling. Feeling the that drag we started to go into a x formation. Activating our parachutes was a success, however, with all the trees we got separated.

Y/N POV
Realizing he was gonna make a hard landing he deliberately made his decent through the trees in order to slow down. In his mind only five words kept repeating,"oh shit this is gonna hurt." He screams in pain as one branch takes the other branch place to hurt him. Upon finally getting stuck in one of them he activated his comms.

Y/N (over comms): Seems as if we're in a new location; remember we use our call signs in the field.

Sarah (over comms): Yeah, I'm sure they'll introduce us later anyway. Good thing we kept the map data from that drone we sent out days ago Bluebird. Also I took the liberty of linking up the ISAC system to our scrolls, should be handy.

Y/N (over comms): I could not agree more. Now, it says we head North to find the temple. We will meet up as we make our way over there Hornet.

He began using his knife to cut the straps only to land on the floor. Once he stood up he drew out his Liberator and began making his way to the temple.

ISAC System: Objective updated. Link up with Hornet and make your way to the ruined temple.

Y/N: I'm definitely gonna feel this in the morning. Well no use standing around seeing how we're being watched.

Sarah POV

Sarah: Well this couldn't have gone worse. We are separated and to top it off we still know little to none of this world.

Pulling out Partisan she began heading off towards the ruined temple. Probably would've been helpful if someone told them previously that Grimm are attracted to negative emotion.

20 minutes later with the temple in sight

Hornet was was running her way toward the temple. She was running low on ammo as Grimm was still hot on her trail. Emptying out a mag on two Ursai she spotted Y/N. While all the Grimm seemed to be attracted to her it left Y/N in a stroll through the forest.

Y/N POV
I was waiting for Hornet looking at the radar. I heard a ping on my smart watch signaling that an agent was nearby. Looking up I saw Sarah with a horde of Grimm behind her. I pulled out my Historian and began lining up their heads within my scope.
