Ch 12 The Calm Before a Storm

Winter: (hangs her head in shame as she realizes he is right) He's right. Well Qrow it's time to report to Headmaster Ozpin.

Qrow: (drinking from flask) Yeah I'll be there in a moment.

Meanwhile back to Y/N

Y/N: Well now that's done I heard your team won their round in the tournament. Let's go get some lunch, my treat.

Ruby: (stomach rumbles) I could go for some lunch.

Weiss: I could go for some as well. Just let me call Blake and Yang for this as well.

Y/N: Good as it was a team effort and your team came a long way from how I saw all of you started.

As Blake and Yang arrived they decided a place called, Simple Wok. Coincidentally Y/N knew of the place and they grabbed the next bullhead to head to the city.

Y/N: You know I've actually been to this place before. It's a good choice.

Yang: How many times?

Y/N: Let's just say that saying that I'll have the usual actually means something to the owner.

Blake: I'm gonna have to agree with Y/N as I've been there before.

As they arrived they see one of the unassuming huts set up in the fairgrounds stringed with paper lanterns with a sign overhead saying, A Simple Wok. Going on the stools outside Y/N was greeted by the shopkeep.

Shopkeep: Ah Y/N and Blake some of my most valued customers! How have you been?

Y/N: It's been good. These four have been lifting my spirits up ever since you know what happened.

Shopkeep: Yeah, such a tragedy. Say hi to Sarah for me.

Y/N: Will do.

Shopkeep: Now what will you five want to order?

Y/N: The usual. (a large bowl of noodles slides in front of him)

Yang: I'll have a bowl of the regular, please. (a large bowl of noodles slides in front of her)

Ruby: Oohhh... I'll take the same. (a large bowl of noodles slides in front of her, as she clasps her hands in excitement)

Weiss: (looking concerned) Do you have anything with a low-salt ...? (a large bowl of regular noodles instantly slides in front of her instead) Um... okay...

Blake: (merely gives a nod and a large bowl of noodles topped with fish slices in front of her)

Shopkeep: Will this be separate checks or all together?

Y/N: All together.

He gives the credit card and the shopkeep returns his credit card afterwards.

Shopkeep: Remember what to do Y/N and enjoy your meal. With that he dashes off to the next customers.

Later on, the bowls are emptied with each member either are content with their meal or holding their stomachs.

Ruby: That was delicious.

Weiss: I thought it wouldn't be looking at the location but I was wrong.

Yang: Remind me next time you plan on eating here.

Y/N: Yeah... (his scroll rings and looking at the device it appears to be Ozpin)

He quickly picks up the phone.

Ozpin: Hello Y/N. I have urgent news to say that wold be most appropriate to say face to face.
