Maybe it was better that way. She comes off more genuine. People will like her character a lot when the first chapter airs. His... maybe not so much. In the first chapter, he just seems kinda there. Following Akamatsu with nothing better to do. That's a position he can settle with.
More conversation was provoked and it lessened the heavy tension in the air. "We should look for a way out!" She finally said. Concluding their first scene.
"...Yeah, good idea."
Originally, he thought that after every scene, they would be woken up. However, they walked out of that classroom with no pauses. The grass covered hallways confused him, since it gave off an abandoned aura. As if this place was kept and not kept, at the same time.
He looked at the plants seemingly growing out of the concrete with no soil supporting it. It looked very real. Let this be a virtual reality or not, it felt too real. Akamatsu seemed to care less. She walked through the hallways and spoke with other Ultimates so casually. While he hung back and watched.
This type of situation was strange, yet everyone accepted it so easily. Again, shaking his head from that thought process. This was a show. He was acting. Everything was going according to plan.
His part to play was less than colorful. Walking besides Akamatsu and listening to her speak and meet with everyone was, in blatant terms, boring. At least he picked up on their names and talents. From the room where he first entered to get his schedule. He only saw them briefly before the programming.
His attention was brought back to a different classroom. A classroom labeled Room A. With an entry of a blue door. Two individuals were running around. Or more so, one running from, and the other chasing. He wished their interaction with him was a lot more... interesting than Yumeno or Chabashira. Or Iruma. He's still in a worse mood after she called him a pervert for wearing a hat. Accusing him for looking somewhere he shouldn't of been looking.
It definitely was. A small boy was practically hopping over desks to get his hands on the other, or looked like he was made of metal plates. "Heey! Wait for me!" The small boy yelled at his victim. Suddenly he remembers who this is.
"...I'm Ouma Kokichi, nice to meet you ...before we kill ourselves."
Such an introduction could not have been easily forgotten. After all, he was the boy with the clouds in his eyes. Devoid of life and seemed to lack of any ability to show emotion. Yet here he is, smiling as if he had won the lottery. "Please! Stop! Don't come any closer!" Yelled the robotic boy with white hair.
"Awe c'mon! Lemme touch your body a little!"
Saihara has stepped between the two. Successfully halting the other who seemed focused on the other. Yet the boy seemed more interested in Akamatsu than he did to him. Of course. Akamatsu naturally attracted attention, since she's the Protagonist.
More whining broke out and Ouma was jumping from one foot to the other, waving his hands as if he wanted her eyes on him instead of newly introduced Kiibo.
"That's not faaair!" He cried. "You can't be the only one who gets to show off!" He pouted, but his displeasure disappearing when Akamatsu silently apologized to Kiibo. "I'll introduce myself too!" Suddenly his movements came to a minimum as he stood up straight for once.
"Ah...um, go ahead." Akamatsu weakly probed.
For additional effect, he stuck one hand behind his back while the other is on his chest. Showing a cheeky smile as he proudly introduces himself.
"I'm Ouma Kokichi! The Ultimate Supreme Leader!"
He took a slight bow before watching with energy filled eyes as he listened to Akamatsu say her name and talent. Unexpectedly turning to him. "And you? Geez. Anyone ever tell you it's rude to ignore people?" He laughed.
