Colby: idk you tell me. Friend.

I looked at my phone confused then I remembered calling Colby a friend to my mom.

Ella: you don't understand Colby. That's not what I really meant

Colby: Yea whatever. I had fun...until it was ruined

I let out a heavy, shaky breath then a tear slipped from my eye. "Did he tell you?" Andrea asked and I nodded. "How about you get your mind off things and come to a party with me." She said and I remembered it was Friday so of course there was a party. "Is Colby gonna be there?" I asked. "Most likely, Corey is throwing the party." She said and I sighed. "But we're gonna forget about him for the night. Let's go be college kids and get drunk. Go crazy ahhh go stupid." She said making me laugh. "Fine." I said and she smiled widely. "When does it start?" I asked. "Uh 9." She said and I looked at the time and it was 7. "I was literally partying yesterday." I said and she shrugged. "Soooo lets have fun." She said and I smiled. "Okay ok." I walked over to my closest and picked out a dress. "How about you show Colby what he's missing." Andrea said walking over to me and pulled out a short dark red dress. "That's too short." I said. "Do you want Colby to know what he's missing?" She asked. "Well yea but it's kinda my fault he's mad." I said. "Well he didn't let you explain so. Where this." She said and I rolled my eyes jokingly and threw it on.

After I finished getting ready I walked out of the bathroom and Andrea smirked. "Colby is gonna be so mad this is what he dropped." She said and I chuckled. "You really like him don't you?" She asked and I sighed, shaking my head. "A lot." I said. "Look Ella don't be mad but the only reason-" she got cut off by my phone ringing. "Hold on." I said then answered my phone. It was Colby. "If you're going to the party tonight I wanna talk." He said then hung. Weird that he just hung up out of nowhere. "Who was that?" Andrea asked. "Colby, he said he wanted to talk. But what were you gonna say?" I asked and she shook her head. "Never mind it doesn't matter." She said and I nodded.
