Soon, all of the ninja were lifting the canvas as Jay spun all of the dust and sand off of the Destiny's Bounty. They were done in no time.
Wu and Nya walked into the ninjas' room a few minutes later-to find the ninja completely finished and playing a video game. "What took you so long?" Kai teased, hair just a little less messy.
"Wow, This place looks amazing!" Nya marveled, looking around at the clean and organized ship. "You guys did all this?"
"Ninja don't just fight, Nya," Cole grinned, his black hair not even the slightest bit dirty. "We clean."
Wu nodded. "Oh, you have exceeded my expectations," he said humorously, stroking his beard. Suddenly, a car horn sounded outside. Wu smiled. "But can you keep it up?"
Nya peeked out of the ship window to see an long, odd car with an even odder couple inside. They drove over the sand like it was nothing, plowing through the desert towards the ship.
"Looks like we're about have some visitors," Nya giggled, turning from the window to the ninja. Jay has put down his controller and was now stark f at the window with a sort of exhaustion. "And loud ones at that."
"Ugh...It's my parents," Jay sighed irritably. "Please, if they start yapping, just don't let them going, okay? They don't know when to quit. And if you start talking then they'll start talking, and suddenly half the day is gone before you know it ends..."
"We get it!" Kai cut in, "They talk a lot." Then he added under his breath, "The cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom."
Jay's parents were now approaching the Destiny's Bounty, then ran into the garage sale pile. "Oh, heh," Ed, Jay's father, chuckled. "Take a note, Edna. Either better brakes or a better bumper.... Oh, will you look at all this great stuff. They can't just get rid of it. We should have brought the trailer, Edna."
"This ain't a flea market, Ed," Edna, Jay's mother, sighed. "We're here for Jay."
Ed put a hand to his ear, saying, "What was that? Did you take a note?"
His wife sighed yet again, taking out a pencil. "I'm writing it down, Ed."
"Mom! Dad!" Jay walked off of the ship, faking happiness. Then he added, slightly annoyed, "What are you doing here?"
Edna stood up to get a better look at Jay before smiling, "Oh, look! It's my baby boy! It's been so long since we heard from you!"
The others came up behind the blue ninja as he groaned, "Ma, I called you two days ago."
The old junkyard worker chuckled, jumping out of the strange vehicle. "Oh well, it's not soon enough, son. When are you coming out to the junkyard? You-Ya say you're coming an... an... and you don't."
The ninja of lightning flushed. "Dad, do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?" He winced, checking to make sure no one was laughing or giving him a weird look.
The only one laughing was Edna. "He hates it when we tell people he was born in a junkyard." Smiling, she gasped at Nya and cooed, "Oh, and who are you? You are so cute! You are just my son's type."
If Jay had ever felt embarrassed before, it was nothing compared to now. "Mom!"
"It's a pleasure meeting you," Nya said, holding back her laughter. "I'm sure if you want, Jay can give you a tour. He worked very hard on it."
Before the blue ninja could protest, his parents exclaimed, "We'd love to!"
Jay hit his head with his hand, sighing. It's gonna be a long day...
