Chapter 6 : Friend Rivalry

"No one came to this location sir..."

"DID THEY CHANGE THEIR ROUTE?"

"That would've been an outcome sir"

"Find out where they are... They will never escape me"

After so many years... I can finally take revenge on Yuna. One thing I realise is that physically hurting her or killing her doesn't effect her. But hurting the people closest to her burts her most. And that's what I am going to do. As of right now, because she's working with Twice, I have 9 more targets I could hit. But it'll have to wait. As of right now, they're expecting me to target someone... But I won't. I have more important business to do.

One month later

Yuna's POV

It has already been one month and there has been NO action at all. I mean sure it is a relief but it has been a while since Kai made a move and nothing crazy has been happening with Twice either. They're still on they're tour for Twicelights and we' ve been guarding them ever since. Right now, they're in America and I'm walking behind Nayeon and Jihyo who wanted to go out for food.

"Hey, Yuna why the long face?" Nayeon asked.

"Nah it's nothing... Just work"

"I hope we haven't been too troublesome for you" Jihyo said.

"Definitely not... Y'all are quite fun to be around with. Sometimes I forget I'm even working when I'm with you guys"

"Aww thanks Yuna"

Over the past month, I've bonded with the girls a lot more to the point we are considered best friends. It all started when they invited the three of us too their dorm for a dinner and bonded from there.

"Ooooohhhhh a pizza place. Can we go there Yuna pleaseee~"

"Nayeon unnie please... Stop with the  aegyo"

"Yea stop with the aegyo" Jihyo backed me up.

"You guys are no fun" She pouted.

I walked over and sidehugged her.

"Just kidding unnie let's go eat pizza.. I heard Chicago pizza is very delicious"

"That line sounds familiar" Jihyo queried.

"Jeongyeon said it while during her speech crying"

"Oh right.. HAHAHAHAH"

Jiwon's POV

Mine and Yuna's relationship has been going fine so far. We haven't even argued at all throughout. But I think it's time to do something I should have done a long time ago
Tell Hyunjin about us. He's been asking me non stop and not telling him it's Yuna is lying to him.

"Hyunjin ah come here... I wanna tell you something"

We both are in the hotel room. I called him over to watch a movie with me.

"If it's to say sorry for screaming during the movie it's fine"

"No it is something else"

His face turned serious.

"What is it?"

"I'm dating someone"

"I already know that"

"That someone is a girl..."

"Oh.. You're... Gay?"

"Bi actually"

"You know that's okay... I won't suddenly stop hanging out with you just because of that... But who are you dating?"

"You know her very very well..."

"Really? The only girls I know is your sister, Yuna's sister and Yuna"

As he said Yuna's name I nodded.

"Y-you're kidding..."

"I'm not"

"H-how long?"

"2 months"

"Fuck" He muttered it. But I could still hear it.

"Are you mad?"

"No. No I'm not"

I knew he was lying. I've known him for so long... There's something bugging him. Just then, the door to the room opened and it was no other than Yuna.

"HOW FUCKING COULD YOU?!"

The next thing I knew, Yuna was on the floor with Hyunjin on top and was repeatedly punching her.

"H-Hyunjin stop!"

"YOU LIED TO ME FOR TWO MONTHS YUNA! YOU KNEW I LOVED HER AND YOU DO THIS"

He loved me. But he never said anything. Yuna was already bleeding at this point.

"Hyunjin FUCKING STOP OR I WON'T TALK TO YOU AT ALL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!" I yelled.

He stopped. He stood up without even helping Yuna out and just walked straight out the room.

"Yuna..."

I helped her out and brought her to the bed.

"I'm guessing you told him?"

I nodded.

"Did he hurt you?" She sat up checking me.

"Babe no... He didn't..."

"Good"

She walked into the bathroom to clean herself up.

"Why does he have to wear so many rings?"

I walked behind her and backhugged her.

"Should I not have told him?"

"If you didn't you never will"

"I love you..."

"I love you too"

Hyunjin's POV

"Hello?"

"I accept your offer"

"Oh? Did Yuna do something?"

"She can fuck herself. I want to join you"

"You're more than welcome..."

"What do you need help with?"

"I need someone on the otherside. To tell whats going on in the inside"

"That will be me I guess"

"Yes. Now do your part and report to me everyday. Act normal and don't tell anyone about this"

"Okay"

The call ended.

When Jiwon told me that she was dating Yuna I felt backstabbed. I delt betrayed. My best friend lied to me for two months. That's why I decided to take up the offer.

The person on the phone earlier was my cousin. He is also part of the mafia. I cut ties with him because he decided to join the bad side of the mafia community which was killing people for no reason or out of jealousy. All throughout my life I knew he only had one target to kill. His name is Kim Jongin who is also known as Kai. And his target is Yuna.

I'm really sorry I haven't updated at all. I've been busy with exams and studying that I haven't been on my phone at all. But I will be updating this book more now and you will hopefully be getting three chapters by thr next two days ✌🏻. Thank you for being patient! 😊
