Within seconds of the door closing behind them, Daemon was on her.
Kissing her with an intensity that would make anyone blush crimson red with embarrassment. His fingers dug themselves through Jenny's long blonde tresses as he continued to assault her lips with vigor that would've made Jenny's lips hurt if it weren't for the pleasurable tingles it left behind.
Jenny felt her skin burn as he traced his fingers along her waist, pulling her closer to him as if he couldn't breathe without her there in such close proximity. Jenny's heart raced, her breaths labored as she felt a moan of pleasure slip out of her lips.
"Daemon!" she screamed just as she fell off her bed and onto the floor.
Dreams of Daemon Matthews continued to haunt her at night while thoughts of him plagued during the day.
The idea of running to exhaust herself and drown out any thoughts of him came when she was almost livid and crazy.
The running helped drown out the thoughts and Jenny slowly got back to her norm.
The only new thing was that Glenn was more public about his feelings towards her now at school, not caring that everyone was talking about how much he was head over heels for her.
The day after he had gone to dinner at the Archers, he had surprised Jenny with a box full of donuts from the bakery near school and a cup of coffee when she walked into the student council room. Then he had offered to walk her to class which thankfully he took back when Jenny refused. She still had yet to come to terms with this side of him.
The day after, he had helped her solve the physics homework that she hadn't been able to understand. He was patient with her and even gave up his lunch hour to help her until she understood it and could solve the problem blindfolded.
And on Friday, he had asked her if she wanted to catch a movie with him later that day. Jenny had apologized because Santana and her had made plans to binge watch Teen Wolf, all six seasons.
He'd looked disappointed and Jenny wished she could take it back instantly but then Santana had appeared and had dragged her away.
As much as she welcomed Glenn's company, Jenny avoided Daemon's.
Wherever she knew she had a high chance of running into him, she avoided. Whenever she could spot his dark head towering of people in a crowd, she turned and walked the other way, her feet hastily carrying her away. Whenever she heard his voice, her senses were alert and she made herself scarce.
After all, why make an alcoholic be in the presence of aged cognac?
Jenny knew after the first few nights of dreaming of doing unthinkable things with Daemon Matthews, that she was in dangerous territory.
She also knew that the claims she had made earlier about being over him were false and that she had just chosen to protect herself from any heartbreak and had pushed it way down.
The first kiss with Daemon had brought it back to the surface and the run-ins and kiss that had followed after had made her pushed down feelings rear its ugly head.
Daemon was her aged cognac and Jenny Archer didn't want to be an alcoholic anymore.
Fortunately, despite the resolute and determined face that Daemon had made that night, he didn't go out if his way to follow through. If anything, it almost seemed like he was also avoiding her.
Jenny's phone vibrated as she tried to catch her breath. Without looking at the screen to see who it was, she answered the phone.
Her twin's voice greeted her.
