Chapter 8- My First Job

Within a flash, I teleported and appeared before Natsu with Happy on his head. Natsu exclaimed, “Y/N, how did you get here so fast?” I said with a wink, “I have my own ways so don’t ask.” Then Gray managed to catch up with Natsu and said, “Don’t run off so fast by yourself, Flame Breath.” Then I said, “Let’s go wake Lucy up first.” They nodded and we went into her room quietly. She slept soundly until Natsu’s laughing sound almost woke her up. She only moved a bit. I then shushed him and hinted to them to get Happy to wake her while we go and hide. Once we put Happy on her bed and we had hid ourselves properly, we hinted to him to wake Lucy up. He started to put a paw on her face and said, “Lucy, wake up.” She started to open her eyes and once she saw that it was Happy, she said loudly, “How did you get in here?” He ignored that and told Lucy, “Hurry up and get up Lucy, if not there won’t be breakfast for you.” She started to get off the bed and her legs touched the floor. When she started to stand up, Gray who was hiding below her bed, grabbed her legs, which scared the hell out of her, since she started to scream loudly. Then she looked below her bed and when she found Gray, she said, “You sneaked into my room with Happy right? Where’s Natsu?” Gray shrugged with his shoulders and when she started to wake out of the room, Natsu who was hiding in her closet, came out and scared her. She screamed loudly and started to hit Natsu. Natsu did get a bump on his head and he was saying that it hurts to Lucy but Lucy ignored it and said, “Is there anyone else still?” They shook their head and I guess that it was because they didn’t know where I was hiding. I could actually see them all since I was actually camouflaging myself in the shadows. I then said loudly, “Then, what am I?” I changed my voice a bit so they couldn’t recognize that it was mine. Then I saw they start to freak out. I then went outside of the room as a shadow and opened the door and said, “Let’s go wake Erza. Oh yeah, Lucy, after we wake Erza up, you can then go wash up like the guys, just that they use the bathroom downstairs. She nodded and asked softly since she was still a bit scared by the voice that I had used earlier on in her room, “Was it you who said that?” “What do you think?” I said calmly. She said, “I knew it.” Natsu said excitedly, “Where did you hide?” I said, “Somewhere which everyone has.” He had a confused look and kept thinking what it was. I saw that Lucy and Gray both did the same. “I don’t think you will be able to guess it out so easily. You will know when the time comes.” Natsu then asked, “Why do you keep saying that we will only know your secrets when the time comes?” I had no answer in mind but I knew I had to say something so I then said, “Because I want to keep it a secret and slowly reveal it to you guys and see that you guys are shocked by my secrets.” They had a ‘why’ look on their face but didn’t say anything.

 We then went to Erza’s room. I know that she would be angry at us if we prank her, so we got Happy to just wake her up without any surprises. Then Lucy and Erza went to wash up in the bathroom, while Natsu and Gray went downstairs with me. They went to wash up while I went to the sofa which Twinkle was sitting on. I then told her everything that happened earlier on in the rooms that I went to in order to wake the members up. Shortly after, the members all gathered together and I said, “Okay, let’s eat.” We all sat down and I brought out the breakfast I made. I also brought a slice of cake that I secretly bought after talking to Twinkle. The rest of the members ate the breakfast I made and Erza ate the cake I brought out of the kitchen. While we were eating, Erza said, “Y/N, since you’re doing this mission alone with Natsu, please make sure he doesn’t destroy a town or something.” I nodded and said with a cheeky smile, “I will make sure he doesn’t destroy it... But, I can’t promise I won’t.” They all had a shocked look and exclaimed, “You too?!” I nodded calmly and said, “Since I’m a dragon slayer too, I will also destroy things due to the immense magic that we have in our bodies.” They nodded in agreement and when they were done with our breakfast, they thanked and we all started to clear and wash our plates.
