INHERITANCE

Nico POV

I regretted my decision the moment Aphrodite chose our clothes.

I was wearing buttery-brown suede shoes, a pair of sleek grey pants and a simple black leather belt. I had a  white dress shirt on, the top most button undone, the buttons gleaming. I was given a grey blazer, all 3 buttons done up.

A black handkerchief stuck out of my breast pocket. A simple small folded skull embroidered in the cloth. The cloth had a red trim.

I wore a simple black and leather watch and braid of leather on my wrist. My black tie was not tied and carelessly thrown over my neck. My shaggy hair was trimmed and gelled lightly.

A simple pair of sunglasses in my blazer pocket. In other words.... I looked....terrible.

Percy got it worst though. While me and Thalia were meant to be portrayed as more chill and laid back, Percy and Zoë were meant to look smart and stiff.

Percy wore dark brown leather shoes. He had a pair of navy blue pants with a brown leather belt. He had a white dress shirt on , his buttons buttoned right to the top.

Unlike mine, his buttons were a soft silvery grey. He wore a sea green tie with gold trim. He had to wear a vest. His best was black with gold trim. He was given a Navy blue blazer , all 3 buttons buttoned up completely.

A sea green handkerchief with gold trim stick out of his breast pocket, with embroidery of a hourglass in black. He also wore a leather braid on his left right wrist. He wore cufflinks, silver cufflinks with a engraved dragon.

Instead of a watch, from the middle button , a gold chain was attached there, to his pocket were a elegant pocket watch was. His pocket watch was gold with sea green engravings of marine creatures.

Right in the centre , a black hourglass was engraved on the surface. When you opened it , it had a black background. The gold hourglass in the middle.

The numbers were all in Roman numerals in silver. 2 sea green orbs floated around , circling it like a hour and minute hand would. He had a pair of sunglasses identical to mine in his pocket.

Zoë POV

I was wearing brown leather shoes. I had a pair of black pants on with a black leather belt. I wore a white dress shirt , buttoned to the collar. I had a black blazer , buttoned all the way as well. I had a simple grey tie with sea green trim.

From my dress shirt, a gold chain emerged and went into my breast pocket were a pocket watch lay.

Thalia was wearing something much simpler than me. She wore soft leather loafers, a pair of deep grey pants and a white cloth belt. She wore a casual T shirt that had a eagle in black print on it.

The Greek letter “Ω” Omega , around the collar of the shirt. She had a deep grey blazer thrown on and didn’t button it. She had a dark blue scarf tied around her neck. Much like those girl scouts. Hooked on her shirt was a pair of sunglasses.

Identical to mine that hung out of my blazer pockets. Her hair was brushed back a little. Lastly , she had earphones in her ears , the music so loud I could hear it just by standing next to her.

And we went off to the gods to let them check out attire. When we got there, the entire Olympian council was bowing to a strange man. He had long blond hair , it looked golden , a dull kind of gold.

He wore a brown suit and a red tie. His eyes were golden just like Kronos. That must mean only one thing. This was Chronos , Primordial god of time.

“Youngling god of Time. I wish to fade. Kill me. Help me pass onto the realm of my father. You will inherit my aspects and powers. Please. Help me.” Chronus pleased.
