Return My Son Part 2

Start from the beginning

Jin's memories

I was at her window.

"Y/n, come on. We will be late."

"Late for what?"

"Rush hour. I found someone who we can get." I said happily.

We rushed out together.

Her smiling face is the one reason why I am still living. All I want to see is her happy.

Another memory.

We were on the top of her apartment roof.

"Jin, do you ever think that we could change?"

"What do you mean?"

"Like get out of this place and start a new life. A better life."

"Well, as long as I'm with you my life is better."

"Haha. That's weird don't say that."

Her laugh was so cute.

A last memory.

Y/n was crying in front of me.

"What's wrong?"

"I-I have to pay rent but I don't have enough money. I'll be kicked onto the street." She said crying.

"Hey, it's ok."

"Easy for you to say. You live with other people and they pay your rent."

"You'll be ok."

"I can't go back to the street. I just-" Before she could finish I pulled her into a hug, patting her back.

"Listen to me. We will find a way to get you the money." She cried into my shoulder.

That night I stole from many people and went to her apartment. I knocked on the window. It opened and I saw Y/n. She looked sad.

"I have something for you."

"Is it the bill from the landlord?"

"No, here." She opened it up and looked at it for a moment.

"What?"

"I got it for you. Now you can still stay here." Her eyes started watering and she pulled me in for a hug.

"Thank you"

The memories end.

No matter how mad I get at her I just can't ever leave her by herself. I rush to the building rooftop.

"Y/n!" I yell. The man had knocked her out. I grab a pole that was on the ground and whack the man's head. He falls off the building.

"Y/n! Wake up, come on!" I shake her but get no response.

"Y/n, come on, please." Tears leave my eyes.

"Please, you can't die. Come on wake up." A tear falls on her face.

"I thought I knocked you out with a wooden pole." She said in a pained voice.

"It takes more than that to stop me." I laugh and hug her really tight.

"Ow."

"Oh sorry." I loosen my grip.

"So did you come here to give me my juice or am I still getting bread." She laughs a little.

"I know what I did was wrong and I'm really sorry."

"Oh, I know you are."

"I'll make it up to you. I'll-"
