"Of course, after all the she wolf hasn't show herself yet, she's running out of time to save them, might as well prepare them for the slaughter, just in case she shows up late." Kane smiles a cold smile in our direction before leaving the same way he came in, everyone sighs in relief at his disappearance. "I really hate that entitled jerk, just because he's one of the five doesn't give him the right to lord it over us." The male that stepped forward grumbles. "Quiet your tongue, it entitles him to that and much more, as if you wouldn't Lord it over the others if you had his position." Ian scolds the kid into silence as they toss some worn clothes into the cage.
"Change into those, they'll be better to move in." Ian called to us and I agreed if we were fighting the offered clothes were better than what we were wearing right now, still only when I ordered tgem did the others get changed. "Names Skeet, I'm helping Ian escort your cage to the unloading zone." The kid introduced himself like he wanted to make friends, not as if we'd be at each other's throats without the bars between us, and I couldn't wait to do just that.
Colton
This Skeet kid had no idea how far he was pushing Bowen's buttons but I did, I was certain if he took one step closer Bo would try strangling him through the bars. "Catch." Ian started tossing wrapped sandwiches through the bars to us and I caught one with suspicion. "Trying to poison us now, I thought we were supposed to be fighting?" Simon growled as he sniffed one of them, holding it out like it might explode at any minute.
"You are, so the boss wants you all as fed and happy as possible to keep your strength up. Those sandwiches don't have any drugs or poison although that tends to be the usual treatment for reluctant fighters, you all get some special treatment tonight. Eat or don't it's up to you, we'll be back in thirty minutes to roll your cage in to the stage for first viewing before the bells chime." Ian shrugged as he headed out, all except Skeet followed right behind him.
"You guys might get lucky and get a save out of here at least, my brother didn't have that luxury when they slautered him. For your sake I hope your she wolf friend shows up, things will be easier on you if they want to keep her doing what they tell her too as long as she..." He stops himself before nodding to us and following the trail of the others. He didn't need to finish for the message to be clear if Sidney came and succeeded in whatever was thrown at her they would use us to make her do whatever they said, if they didn't kill us first.
Daniel
We ended up eating the sandwiches, and considering we didn't puke or suddenly drop dead I took that as a good sign. "She won't come here right guys, that guy said it's what she does but... you don't think she'll come for us right, they'll lock her up again if she does?!" Jason paced the cage with a whimper. "I don't know." Bowen murmured softly. "Of course she's coming, even if we told her not to she'd still come. Think about it bro, she's been so intent on keeping us safe all this time, fight for us and protecting us, she's coming to get us out of here and they're going to rip her to pieces for it." I whispered painfully, the unspoken truth no one else could admit aloud.
"We can't let that happen." Ash stated firmly. "What are we going to do, we're in a cage here, are we going to bore all them to death?!" Beck snapped back. "No." Bowen's stern tone quieted Beck's outrage and stilled everyone as we watched our alpha intently. "We fight, it's the only way now, if we go in there then Sidney will be safe, at the very least they can't use us against her." Colton murmured. "They can't use us against her if we're already dead." Bowen finished the statement as a chill tan through me before a sudden resolve seemed to calm my body in an instant. "So we fight and take out as many as we can before they kill all of us, Sid won't like it but she won't stick around if we're dead already." Beck nodded slowly.
