"Maybe, or maybe not, but it's either die or watch them kill her, and I know which one I'm able to live with." Micah whispered solemnly. "I'm in." I agreed lowly and the others confirmed their cooperation. "Then it's settled, when the bell chimes we fight with everything we've got, and take as many out with us as we can." Bowen ordered to our agreement before silence settled over us again, our thoughts lost in what would no doubt be our final moments together as a pack. "Times up boys, hope you're ready to show off for the crowd, they can't wait to see this one." Ian and Skeet rolled our cage through a large bay door and then I could hear them. There was screaming and cheers for the upcoming fight, the scent of shifters was so strong, rogue and otherwise, but the most over powering smell of all, death.

"Smile and wave fools, maybe someone will come forward to take your place." Ian chuckled darkly as the cage was pushed through a black curtain and into I giant lit up warehouse room. The shouting was nearly deafening as I caught sight of the crowd and they caught sight of all of us being rolled out onto a stage, we were the center of the spotlight. There were stands of bleachers rising high up around us and a giant wall in front of us with locked doors around it's sides. There were cameras and monitors scattered around the place and one caught my attention, specifically.

We appeared to be on some ground level of sorts and there were bleachers and stands going all the way up to a second floor, every seat was filled, but that didn't keep my focus. What terrified me and had me watching uncertainly was the minister focused on this sand floor pit deep below us behind the wall, there were stairs and a ramp that led down to the bottom from the doors around it's sides. The most alarming fact though was the rust colored sand, there were parts where the sand seemed normal but they were few and far between. "They don't change the sand all that often, no real use if you go if there to die anyway." Skeet whispered from behind me, just loud enough for all of us to here. The rust stains were blood stains and the Pit below us was bigger than a baseball field, just how many died to color the sand so dark I wondered.

"Lady's and gents, man and beasts, I give you our champions of the hour, not one not two, but 12 strong young males ready and willing to rip any and all challengers to shreds, THE SHAW PACK!" A loud announcers call came over a microphone as our cage was displayed on all the monitors, and there was a mixture of cheers and boos. " Now before we get down to formalities I want to announce our very special guests for this momentous occasion all of The Five have decided to grant us with their presence for the show tonight." The announcers voice had murmurs running through the crowd as the screen was taken off us to show five empty chairs at a front row seat to the sand pit of death.

"Who are the five?" I voiced warily to no one in particular. "They used to be The Seven before your little she wolf killed two of them and wounded one in particular pretty bad the night she escaped, the rest of them took that pretty personal. To answer your question though, The Five are all our leaders, it's rare to have them all in the same place at the same time but if Sidney shows they want to be here to watch that fight. Now shut up and pay attention, as soon as announcements are over you're times up." Ian grunted roughly. "First up lets welcome Leader Drew a fearsome fighter in his own right!" Announcer boy called, everyone clapped as an older blond wolf took one of the five chairs.

"And of course the stoic brothers Leader Corbin and Leader Nolan." Two more mature males spitting image of each other took their seats. "The ever persistent and handsome lady killer, Leader Kane." The guy that met us in holding came out with a wide grin and a female on each arm as he took his seat and pulled one of the scantily dressed girls onto his lap. "And last but certainly not least lets give it up for the boss man himself, ALPHA LEADER NASH!" There was an uproar from the crowd of his apparent fans as a tall male with an assertive smirk strolled out to take his seat at the front of the others.

There on the screen his face had a jagged scar along it's side and the sheer coldness in his eyes gave me an idea of who exactly had given it to him, the thought of Sid facing him alone was infuriating to me. "Now with that out of the way... oh hold up a second..." suddenly the camera was on the announcer as he frowned with a finger to his ear before a grin broke out on his face, excited murmurs scattered through the room. "It appears there's been a sudden change of plans everyone, we've got a real treat in store for tonight. It appears the Shaw pack has a guardian angel out there somewhere because we've got a volunteer to take their place in the fight!" There was a sudden hush of the crowd as I felt my stomach sink in despair.

"No." Tucker whispered shaking his head at the beaming announcer on screen. "She's dangerous, she's deadly and she's drop dead gorgeous, let's give it up for everyone's favorite she wolf champion SILVER!" The crowd went nuts as I turned in horror to find Sidney strolling proudly out on stage beside us. They had cheered for our deaths but to have a chance to see her fight and die alone in the blood soaked pit below, they bellowed, and I wanted to kill every single one of them.

"No, she can't!" Simon pleaded uselessly but no one listened. I watched in panic as Sidney raised a fist to the air and the crowd turned impossibly more deafening, as she turned to us I saw the resolve in her and my heart stopped, there would be no changing her mind. Sidney Blake the she wolf we all loved had come to the Pit to die, tonight we'd watch the girl that owned our hearts perish into the countless number of lives lost to the blood soaked sand, and we were helpless to stop it.

*Updated again, and I must say this is getting more interesting by the chapter, what will happen next I wonder?*
